While Bradley’s health seemed to dominate attention from fans throughout the programme, it was undeniable that the contestants certainly put chase Jenny Ryan through her paces.

Worried fans took to X with well wishes for Brad

Three out of four of the players made it safely back for the final and with ease, with Keith an airline pilot the only one being knocked out in the first round. The team had £18,000 in the pot as they took on The Vixen.

They managed to answer 18 questions correctly. But it wasn’t enough to defeat Jenny, with the quiz expert catching them with just 14 seconds on the clock.

While The Vixen did suffer as first and gave away some crucial pushbacks, she picked up the pace. Answering a full batch of questions correctly with minimal time gone.

At one point, Jenny knew she had lots of time left remaining, that she even paused to ask Brad for the spelling of a question. Leaving the host stunned.

At the end of the round, Brad told the trio: “That was impressive that. 14 seconds remaining equates to 4 and half seconds.

“We would have had to get 19 to catch her and the Chaser even stopped and asked for a spelling, that’s rare and that’s how much time we’d got there. Sadly, I’ve got to take the 18k away and tell you the Chase is over.”
