Coronation Street bully Mason ‘set to take a dark turn’ as tensions rise in school yard

Coronation Street bully Mason Radcliffe could go down a dark path and potentially form a gang, AI has claimed.

Over the past few months, ITV fans have been gripped to their seats as the school bad boy (played by Luca Toolan) has wreaked havoc at Weatherfield High School. Viewers have watched Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) and Dylan Wilson be corrupted by the beefcake ever since he arrived on the cobbles.

After months of terrorising his fellow students, Mason has built quite a reputation for himself both inside and outside of the school grounds. Arguably, the student most struggling with his arrival is Liam who has been terrorised each day.

Now, Daily Star has quizzed one of the most popular artificially intelligent ‘creative’ tools Bard AI to see what Mason’s future holds. When asked if his character could spiral out of control, the programme warned that he could take a “darker turn” on the Street.

It explained: “It is certainly possible for Mason’s character to take a darker turn on Coronation Street, considering the groundwork that’s already been laid.” The system went on to explore three possible directions the evil character could take.

The first being that the teenager will turn to physical violence after his aggressively threatening behaviour. It argued: “Mason’s bullying could progress from verbal abuse and intimidating to physical violence, targeting vulnerable characters like Liam Connor or Hope Stape.

“This could lead to a dramatic escalation of the current storyline and potentially serious consequences for Mason.” Another direction that the bully could fall into is extreme manipulation and coercion.

Bard AI suggested: “Mason could become more manipulative, using his charm and charisma to exploit others and get what he wants. This could involve pressuring vulnerable individuals into doing things they’re not comfortable with or even blackmailing them.”

Finally, it suggested that Mason could form a gang that could cause havoc on the street. It pointed out: “Mason could gather a group of like-minded individuals around him, creating a dangerous gang that terrorises the streets of Weatherfield.

“This could raise the stakes of the storyline and introduce new conflicts with established characters.” The programme went on to point out that the star may go on to have a redemption arc on the show after all the terror he has inflicted upon his peers.

The system suggested: “Despite taking a dark turn, Mason could eventually realise the consequences of his actions and choose to confront his wrongdoings. This could involve apologising to his victims and seeking help to address his underlying issues.”

It also argued that a positive influence could enter his life and help pull him out of his downward spiral. Bard AI went on: “A positive influence, such as a mentor or a strong support system, could help Mason turn his life around and make amends for this past mistakes.

“This could offer a hopeful message about the possibility of redemption and change.” Fans will have to stay tuned to see if Mason will continue to terrorise his peers or will turn his life around for the better.

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8pm on ITV1 or catch up on ITVX
