One Oscars guest tripped and fell on the red carpet at the 2024 awards ceremony.
Players actress Liza Koshy took a tumble in her gorgeous crimson red gown, which featured a mermaid hem and large red flowers on her shoulders. The neckline was held up by luck alone as she posed for the cameras and flashed a cheeky smile.
Koshy’s gown hugged her figure as she posed up a storm, while her hair was styled in a sleek updo with a sweeping fringe over her forehead. She also appeared to be wearing a full face of makeup to emphasise her stunning features, including eyeshadow, contour, blush and nude lipstick.

While on the floor after her fall, Liza’s dress lifted up to reveal that she was wearing a pair of sky high red stilettos underneath her look for the night. She used one hand to lean back on the floor as she opened her mouth in shock.

The actress, who rose to fame on social media, handled the fall well and brushed off the incident with a smile. A clip of the star was posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, as she stepped out for the evening in Los Angeles.
She could be heard telling photographers “that’s alright” as they let out a collective noise of shock. People rushed to help her as she joked: “It was a manhole, you saw that? Oh my god.”

The 27-year-old got up like nothing had happened – hair, makeup and outfit still intact – as she walked away. Fans on social media shared their thoughts on the fall and one person wrote: “Hopefully she wasn’t hurt and it must have been embarrassing for her.”

Someone else said: “[Oh my god], poor Liza, I feel so bad for her.” News of Liza’s fall comes after fellow guest Vanessa Hudgens debuted her baby bump on The Oscars’ red carpet this year.
The High School Musical alumni flaunted her blossoming bump in a skin-tight black dress with long sleeves and a turtleneck. She added a dainty silver necklace to her look and diamond rings on her fingers to celebrate the moment.
