Tipping Point fans fear Ben Shephard will quit the ITV show.
The 49-year-old made his debut on This Morning on Monday (March 11) as the ITV programme’s new permanent presenter alongside Cat Deeley. The new role meant Ben was forced to step down from Good Morning Britain after 10 years on the show.
Fans have now questioned his future on Tipping Point, the hit ITV game show he’s been hosting since 2012. With his schedule likely to be hectic since joining This Morning full-time, fans have shared their concerns that Ben could quit Tipping Point too.

On X, formerly Twitter, one wrote: “Is Ben going to continue hosting #TippingPoint as well as This Morning? That’s a lot of saturation if so.”
“Will Ben still be doing tipping point?” asked a second. Another penned: “Who is hosting ‘Tipping Point’ now that Ben Shepherd has moved over to ‘This Morning’?”
A fourth fan asked: “Is he still doing #TippingPoint?” Meanwhile someone else echoed: “Wonder who will presenting this when Ben goes to ThisMorning #tippingpoint.”
Discussing his move from GMB to This Morning, Ben admitted he was looking forward to having a slightly later wake-up call. He said: “Not having to get up so early and to be able to have a lie in is quite high up there.”
On what he was looking forward to most about working on This Morning, the dad-of-three responded: “But seriously it has to be the people. From the team to the guests to, of course, Cat – it’s all about the people. I’ve worked with many of the team on and off but to work with them full time is very exciting.”
The presenter couldn’t speak highly enough of his role on GMB, admitting he thought he would never go back to early mornings after leaving GMTV. He continued: I’ve loved hosting Good Morning Britain over the past 10 years since it launched. When I left GMTV, I always swore I’d never go back because of the early mornings and it goes to show how wrong I was.
“I’m grateful that my extended GMB family is only next door so that whenever I get nostalgic, I know I’m not going to be far away. Although I’ll miss being on screen with them, my later starts mean I may be able to hang out with them all a bit more!”
Ben also paid tribute to his GMB co-star Kate Garraway, who he referred to as his “on-screen wife” of nearly two decades. “One of the hardest decisions of course is knowing that my mornings with Kate, my on-screen wife of nearly 20 years, is coming to an end,” he said.
The ITV star added: “Her journey has been well documented, and I think we would all agree how remarkable she has been over the last four years.” I won’t miss the mess but I’ve learned so much from her, as I have from all of the people I’ve been lucky enough to work alongside.”
