Unsurprisingly, Queen B’s announcement has sent her fans into meltdown with some rushing to share their excitement on social media. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “Honestly? I would’ve preferred ENLIGHTENMENT as the title of act ii, it’s more coherent with the trilogy project. But i love COWBOY CARTER though.” Another added: “OMG Cowboy Carter.” A third person said: “These acts are connected and I can’t wait to see how Beyoncé weaves the themes of Renaissance into Cowboy Carter.”

It comes after Beyonce flaunted her assets in a stunning display for Essence Magazine, while speaking about how a chance with an opera singer sparked her dreams of pop stardom.

In a front cover display for Essence magazine, the Halo hitmaker showed off a variety of different hair looks and styles. The publication offered two separate front covers, one with 42-year-old Beyoncé’s blonde hair styled straight and the other where she has soft curls in a high bun.

The Single Ladies artist recently launched her own hair care line, Cécred with the variety in the mag’s shoot reflecting her claim that her new brand works for all hair types and styles. Beyoncé herself is no stranger to versatility and is two-stepping her way into the country genre for the first time. Earlier today she became the first black woman to top Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.

Appearing in the shoot alongside her mother Tina Knowles, 70, the star opened up about her childhood and shared her inspiration for starting to sing. Mum Tina owned her own hair salon, and it was there Beyoncé realised her “dreams of being a performer”.

She said: “I saw [my mother] trimming hair, transforming women, leaving them feeling really good. It was in her salon that I realised my dreams of being a performer—inspired by one of her clients who happened to be an opera singer. I was captivated by her stories of a recent trip to Germany. In awe, I distinctly remember telling my mom that I wanted to be just like her client. That’s my foundation.”
