Helen Flanagan fans all believe she’s signed up for First Dates after her latest Instagram post.
The 33-year-old, took to her social media platform to update fans on her “child free” evening. But her followers were left convinced she’d rocked up to the Channel 4 fan favourite in hope of meeting a new flame.
While the venue did resemble an uncanny likeness to The Botanist Bar and Restaurant in Bath, Somerset, which is the home of First Dates, the Coronation Street beauty had in-fact tagged a different gaff that was located in Liverpool instead. Crushing the hopes of many.

The mum-of-three was enjoying an afternoon in Liverpool without her brood. She headed to the Municipal Hotel for a gifted stay. During her stay, she treated herself to spa day, along with a beverage at their swanky bar. Sitting on a velvet chair in the colour mustard, Helen looked elegant and chic as she posed for the camera wearing a beige trench coat.

Her glam outfit also included an ankle length denim-wash skirt and a stunning pair of black slip on heels to complete her look. The bar area looked grand with swanky gold tiles and marble floor tiles. It certainly did look like the familiar area on First Date’s where hopefuls meet for the first time before being shown to their tables.
One fan commented beneath the post: “I thought it was First Dates,” as a second chimed back: “Me too.” Others were full of gushy compliments, one wrote: “Stunning lady,” as a second said: “You look so beautiful. Let me know if you need a wingman.” Meanwhile, Helen only recently marked her return to social media after she’d taken some time out to focus on her mental health. The actress bravely opened up about her suffering in a honest post that she shared with fans.

It read: Had a few months off from social but I’m back now. So basically I really struggled mental health-wise December/ January. I felt really not great in my head over Christmas and I didn’t really feel that much different when I took the kids away for new year. I had a lot of difficult things going on things I just can’t talk about on Instagram.”
The soap star added: “But I had a really bad reaction though to the medication (an ADHD medication) and it sent me into a psychosis for a few days which I didn’t know I was in. I just love my kids so much, this bad reaction though was a few days before rehearsals were starting and sadly I just wasn’t mentally well enough to do it.” Helen did go on to reveal that she feels much happier after therapy and also reminded fans to always “be kind”.
