Lorraine Kelly was left in fits of laughter on her ITV show when she was presented with some very cheeky dolls.
The 64 year old host was interviewing cheeky pensioners Sandra Witcombe and Di Wheeler, known as “Britain’s naughtiest knitters”. The pair have been creating a series of anatomically-correct naked dolls to raise funds for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
The duo showcased their collection of nude woolly characters, which included a scantily-clad policeman and a woman named Barbara, whose breasts were deemed “too small.” Lorraine initially agreed that Barbara needed some enhancements but couldn’t resist making a playful comment about size herself.

The amusing exchange began when one of the women remarked: “The only complaint we have had is that Barbara’s boobies aren’t big enough.” A laughing Lorraine responded: “It’s true. It’s absolutely true.
“Yeah, they need to be bigger. They do. Keep up the good work and anyway. Bigger is better for all sorts of reasons.”, reports the Mirror.
Sandra and Di revealed the biggest hurdle they faced while crafting the nude dolls, spilling: “It wasn’t knitting them, that was the easy bit. It was the shaping and the moulding (…) Sometimes they were too big.”
And when Lorraine quizzed them about kickstarting a knitting revolution, Di said: “Yes, get it out there”, leaving Lorraine in stitches. The pair said a local cafe showcasing their knitted nudes got into trouble when a passerby complained that the bare-bodied dolls were a distraction to her grandkids on their school run.
The cafe’s solution? Slapping A4 papers over the dolls to shield young eyes from the woolly wonders.
Fans loved the duo, with one writing on X: “Please give these 2 ladies a knitting show”. Another agreed: “These two ladies are hilarious! The little giggle she just did when her friend said they just had one person moan about them! ! Brilliant.”
A third said: “Giggling away. Those ladies have seen some things.” A fourth chimed in with: “Poor Barbara! Body shamed on live TV! ! ! ” Another joked: “the Tnitty gritty.”
