Strictly lovebirds Tyler West and Mollie Rainford name next BBC show they want to do

Strictly lovebirds Tyler West and Mollie Rainford have revealed they’ve been busy making sweet…. music together.

The besotted couple recently moved into their own London love nest after buying a plush East End apartment.

And they are now plotting a series of joint work projects despite the old age saying, never to mix business and pleasure – including eyeing up another BBC series.

A beaming Tyler, 28, exclusively told the Daily Star Sunday: “We already live together so why not work together as well?

“For us there wasn’t a Strictly curse, it was a Strictly blessing. I think when you really love someone it just clicks. We are each other’s safe space.

“We just enjoy spending time together. We don’t have to try, it just works. We are best friends, we really enjoy each other’s company and we can talk nonstop for hours. We haven’t known each other that long but it feels like we have been together for five-years.”

EastEnders actress Mollie, 23, is currently balancing a solo music career alongside playing Cindy Beale’s daughter Anna Knight, in the BBC soap.

While radio DJ Tyler is also busy working on his own secret music project.

The Kiss FM host revealed: “I’ve been working on my music behind the scenes for the last two years and it is almost ready to go.

“Mollie’s schedule on EastEnders is crazy but she’s been with me in countless writing sessions helping with the project so there will be some sort of collaboration.

“I can’t wait to be playing one of Mollie’s track’s during a DJ slot when she’s one of the biggest artists in the world. That will be sick.

“We also both come from a telly background so it feels natural to do TV together too. We just need to work out what is the right project for us.

“Whether that’s presenting a show together on mainstream telly, doing a documentary, or doing a food show together as we are such big foodies.”

Tyler and Mollie became close friends in 2022 while competing on hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing.

They officially started dating a few months later while performing on the live arena tour.

The head over heels couple moved in together earlier this year.

But despite the whirlwind romance Mollie was quick to brush-off any talk of marriage.

The former BGT child star said: “Everyone seems to be talking about marriage around us but we are just really happy as we are at the moment.

“Moving in together has been incredible and we don’t feel the need to rush anything.”

Admitting there were a few initial teething problems Mollie joked: “We’ve had to get used to a few annoying habits.

“I’ve taught him how to hang a towel and I’m getting better at not letting dirty washing build up. Tyler is a great cook but he can get a bit stressed in the kitchen. If he’s cooking you stay out of the kitchen so I generally prefer to cook.”

But despite Tyler’s fiery cooking skills, Mollie revealed the pair were both eyeing up a stint on Celebrity Masterchef.

She added: “It would be cool to both do Celebrity Masterchef together.

“It would be stressful though. That would certainly be our biggest test for the relationship.”
