An epic crowd of 75,000 was anticipated to rock up to see their beloved celebs have a go at netting some quid for UNICEF. But no sooner had the show hit the airwaves, peeved viewers took to Twitter to vent, all echoing the same gripe.

As co-presenter Dermot O’Leary tried to dish out the lowdown on what was in store, the blare of horns echoed through the stands. The racket from the horns escalated to such a pitch that those tuning in from home couldn’t suss out a word Dermot was saying.

“Just put TV on, can’t watch the match. Its those awful horns, terrible noise just spoils it,” wrote a fifth viewer.

This year, the England side includes the likes of Bobby Brazier, Sam Thompson, Danny Dyer and Tom Hiddleston. Meanwhile, the World XI team includes Roman Kemp, Jason Manford, Tony Bellew and Lee Mack.
