This Morning has been slammed by viewers after a “vile” segment showed a man eating raw meat.
Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley spoke to Weston Rowe, an American man who lives on a diet of uncooked meat. During the segment, the presenters questioned him about his meals and even asked him to eat a raw chicken live on air.
Many of the show’s viewers took to X/Twitter to share their disgust over the graphic segment as the TikTok star chowed down on a “locally bought” chicken leg. “Is there an appropriate time in the day to show this? [sick emojis] #ThisMorning,” wrote one viewer as another questioned: “Eating raw chicken though, how is he still alive?” Another tweet read: “Please don’t try this at home.”

Someone even asked “was there a trigger warning” before the segment played as another person branded Weston as “vile”. One person wrote that his “breath must stink,” that his “bowel must be f***ed” and another viewer posted: “I didn’t enjoy his breakfast. I’m so glad I’ve not had any breakfast otherwise I’d have seen it again,” implying they would have thrown it back up.
“I’m going to be thinking about that gut eating raw chicken all through my upcoming 8 hour shift [sick and skull emojis] #thismorning,” read another tweet. Someone even stated that they “wouldn’t give their own dog raw meat”.
During the segment, Ben spoke to Weston and said: “I think you’ve got some chicken there, haven’t you? You’re gonna eat some chicken for us for breakfast?” Weston agreed to eat the “local raw chicken leg from a local farm” and admitted the meat was “pretty bland”.
Back in the studio, Deeley visibly cringed as she scrunched her face up in disgust. The host couldn’t look more horrified if she tried as the star asked Weston “what the texture is like”. He responded: “Well, I mean, it’s just squishy and a little bit slimey.”
Shephard then sarcastically quipped that it was “just like eating chicken” as Dr Zoe advised viewers at home not to try Weston’s diet for themselves. Elsewhere in This Morning news, presenter Alison Hammond has lost five stone as she wants to be a “sexy bride” for her toyboy.
The 49-year-old began dating 26-year-old David Putman earlier this year and Hammond has been on track to shedding the pounds. A source told Closer magazine: “Alison doesn’t recognise her reflection, she thinks it’s insane. She’s lost almost 5 stone and is still going strong. She wants to be a sexy bride for her new man.”

According to the insider, Alison is still hoping to lose another three stone and is well on her way to becoming a “healthy version of herself”. Hammond has previously appeared on Celebrity Fit Club and Sugar Free Farm.
Reports have said that Alison has never been happier and that “every part of her life” is affected by her weight loss.
