Sabrina Carpenter gave a very steamy performance at the VMAs.
At the Video Music Awards, Carpenter sang on stage beside a tall blue alien wearing a crochet dress, who was kissing a dancer wearing a white astronaut costume. Sabrina sang the lyrics: “And every time you breathe his air, just know I was already there,” and pulled the spaceman off the extraterrestrial.
Fans whooped and cheered as they witnessed the blonde bombshell step forward, reach out and grab the dancer by the face. She leaned in and the pair shared a moment of passion before the Taste singer pushed the martian off to the other side of the stage.

Over on social media, Carpenter fans went wild for the saucy moment that went completely viral as VMA viewers flocked to X/Twitter to share their thoughts. One person wrote: “She devoured her performance,” as others jokingly tweeted that the alien “should have been them”.
Someone said the kiss was their “favourite part” of the night while flame and heart-eyed emojis filled the replies. One loyal Sabrina fan even wrote: “She’s our generation’s Madonna.”
More people branded her “quite iconic,” joked that she is “the first woman to make out with an alien,” that the alien was “lucky” and that Carpenter’s bold move was something the “VMAs will never forget”.
Teen Vogue tweeted: “The way I want someone to look at me like Sabrina Carpenter looked at that alien!! [Anguished emoji].”
For the cheeky live set, Sabrina wore a teeny sleeveless silver bodysuit with a high neck and a high leg cut. The outfit was covered in dainty silver sequins that shone in the light as she belted out her iconic hits Espresso, Please Please Please and Taste.

She styled her long blonde hair in bouncy Hollywood curls, sporting her signature fluffy fringe that perfectly framed her face. The starlet wore a full face of makeup to emphasise her gorgeous features, including nude lipstick, contour and blush.
