I’m A Celeb star Wayne Sleep has opened up about the time he was “stranded” on the ITV dunny.
Wayne spoke exclusively to Daily Star as he promoted his new memoir Just Different and told us all about his I’m A Celebrity stint back in 2003. The ballet pro unfortunately suffered a painful injury in camp which left him unable to walk.
Due to this, he had to be helped out around camp and use a make-shift walking aid. However, one time, his co-stars forgot that he was still on the toilet and all went to bed.

Wayne, 76, told us: “That was the most humiliating moment actually. I was on a bed and I was bored so I tried to keep myself going by jumping on the bed like a trampette.
“But I hit the wooden bar on the side of it and broke my metatarsal muscles and my fourth toe. Linda Barker made me a lovely crutch.
“Then one day I was on the loo and they left me and forgot about me and it was nighttime and I had to shout ‘come and get me!’ I was there for an hour still and I was still sitting on the toilet whilst they had all gone walkies.”
Talking further about the show, Wayne said: “I was in the second [series] to ever get done. We didn’t get much money. We all got the same money at the time.
“But it was amazing and I had to learn to keep my mouth shut because there weren’t that many manners flying around. I was more scared of the people than the rats.”
Wayne also appears to be eyeing up a role on EastEnders after finding out about his spooky connection to the show. He added: “I’d love to appear as a guest on a soap. I think EastEnders would be good and I’d like to be a baddie.
“I played the child catcher on the London Palladium once where I used to frighten children to death, so I could come into the show like the child catcher and do a bit from it, maybe for their Christmas party or something.”
“I once got put under by a psychic and apparently I was from the 1800s or something. I was a violinist from the East End of London, but I was wanted for murder, in a former life. They said I murdered people in the East End back then, so maybe a part in EastEnders does make sense now!”
Wayne’s new book Just Different is out now and can be found here.
