Black Sabbath fans furious as sky-high priced tickets sell out in just minutes

Black Sabbath are reuniting for their final ever gig in Birmingham this summer, but fans have been left fuming with ticket sales after they disappeared at an alarming rate

Black Sabbath fans have been left in total shock.

Metal enthusiasts are absolutely fuming after a ticket-buying frenzy for the band’s final show in Birmingham this summer left many empty-handed. Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne is set to jam out one more time with his Black Sabbath mates for a charity concert in Birmingham on 5th July.

The heavy metal icons will be topping the bill at a one-off festival at Villa Park, with a lineup including Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, Gojira and Anthrax. Controversy hit the fan before the tickets even went on sale, with prices soaring to a jaw-dropping £795 for just one ticket.

Packages are priced from a steep £495 to £795, but it’s all for a good cause, with proceeds going three ways – Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Acorn Children’s Hospice and Cure Parkinson’s.

In the scramble to snag tickets for the hotly anticipated gig on Friday morning [14 February], die-hard Black Sabbath fans were left seething and heartbroken as tickets vanished in a rapid sixteen minutes flat on Ticketmaster.

Over on X/Twitter, one aggrieved fan vented: “But if Black Sabbath tickets are fully sold out, why am I still 12,000 in the queue?! They shouldn’t let us still queue! I’ve also been here since 9:45am, it’s so annoying! It shouldn’t take this long.”

“I’ve been a fan of this band for decades and have been trying all week to get presale tickets and now they’re sold out in like 15 minutes? Absolute joke. How have they got so many fans all of a sudden? Fake fans that’s what,” another vented.

Another person echoed: “Was 800 in the Queue For Black Sabbath Final Show, and when I got in it wouldn’t let me pick any seats, what a f****** joke I hate Ticketmaster, they weren’t sold out by that point, if you’re reselling overpriced tickets, then f*** you,” reports the Mirror.

“More than 2 hours for black sabbath pre-sales and realise that it’s already sold out, f*** sake what kind of joke is this? ? OMG,” another music enthusiast raged, before someone else added: “I give up. All those tickets sold out in less than 16 minutes. What a joke.”

The highly-anticipated concert will be the first time in over two decades that the original Black Sabbath line-up has performed together. Despite being forced to stop touring due to his ongoing battle with Parkinson’s, Ozzy is set to deliver a brief solo set before joining his bandmates on stage for an unforgettable reunion.

“It’s my time to go Back to the Beginning….time for me to give back to the place where I was born,” Ozzy said. “How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever.”
