Jermaine Jenas’ wife Ellie as announced the end of her marriage to the TV presenter.
She took to social media to write: “I never imagined I would have to share something so personal with the public, but given the situation, I feel it’s necessary.”
“After 16 years together and 4 wonderful children, Jermaine and I have decided to part ways. We will remain friends and continue to co-parent.”
“We kindly ask that you respect our children’s privacy during this challenging time. Thank you, Ellie.”
Jermaine and his wife Ellie tied the knot back in 2011 after getting engaged in 2009. The pair share two daughters together.

He was sacked by the BBC back in August 2024 over inappropriate messages sent to coworkers. Three months on, Ellie appeared at the launch of her brand Preppy with her two children and appeared to have left her wedding ring at home.
She told The Sun: “It has been an incredibly hard and difficult time for myself and my family. My only focus has been on our children and building my brand Preppy.”

“Now I just want to move forward,” she explained. Despite finding the situation difficult, Ellie explained that her main concern has been their two children “and that will not change”.
Jermaine rose to fame after playing as a central midfielder for Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Queens Park Rangers. Following his sporting career, the player transitioned into a TV presenter and football pundit.

He is perhaps best known for hosting The One Show, a talkshow aired on BBC One, and Match Of The Day, a football highlights programme shown on Saturday nights on the same channel.
