Katie Price has opened up about the stark worries she has for her son Harvey, whose weight spiralling to 30 stone has led Katie to worry about his future.

At just 22 years old, he faces a serious risk of potential heart issues that leaves Katie grappling with anxiety over his well-being.

During an episode of The Katie Price Show podcast, which she co-hosts with her sis Sophie, the celebrity mum revealed the alarming situation. “He’s just under 30st and that’s huge,” she disclosed. “He’s on the verge of a heart attack. He won’t have a long life if he carries on putting more and more weight on.”

Katie, 49, is pulling out all the stops, working with healthcare experts to reverse the tide. She divulged plans to start Harvey on Mounjaro, one of the new weight loss drugs, expressing: “That’s obviously a massive worry for me, but we’re doing something about it with the doctors.”

Yet, Harvey’s extensive medical history and current medication regime throw hurdles their way. “Because of his complex needs and medications he’s on, things aren’t as easy,” she conceded.

Even so, Katie’s devotion to 24 year old Harvey remains solid against all trials.

She said: “As much as I say Harvey is hard work, it’s a hard work I wouldn’t want to be without. It’s very rewarding.”

Optimistic about the future, she shared: “I can’t imagine Harvey in two years when he’s started Mounjaro and has lost a lot of weight.”

This past weekend, Katie opened up about her heartache regarding her oldest son Harvey’s dangerously high weight.

She had him with ex-footballer Dwight Yorke, 53, who harshly turned his back on Katie and their son after their fling in the early 2000s. Katie later had son Junior, 19, and daughter Princess, 17, with her first husband Peter Andre, 52.

Additionally, she’s the proud mum to wee Jett, 11, and Bunny, 10, with third ex-spouse Kieran Hayler, 38.. Throughout his life, Harvey has faced medical challenges, including Prader-Willi syndrome which causes an insatiable appetite.

Katie’s been on a mission to help Harvey shed pounds amid worries he’s become dangerously overweight – but was dismayed by a recent weigh-in outcome. Opening up on social media over the weekend, Katie revealed Harvey is now tipping the scales at nearly 30 stone.

Taking her worries to Snapchat, the OnlyFans celeb said: “I’m so heartbroken and gutted that his weight is just going up. I just googled it in stones, 188kg is just a few kg of being 30 stone. It’s so life-threatening now, I’m still waiting for the doctors to get back to me starting on the mounjaro and his journey to a healthy life.”

She lamented: “It’s so sad his quality of life at the moment where he’s so big, he just can’t really do much. It’s just another thing I have to deal with because he’s at high risk of having a heart attack, he struggles to put his trainers or struggles to walk anywhere but I love him and I’m going to help him through this.”

Adding to her woes, she said: “So sad, obesity and his condition is sad, it’s sad to see someone go through it and he doesn’t understand.”

Earlier in the year, Katie disclosed that she had resorted to weight loss injections in a bid to assist Harvey in managing his weight. She mentioned the medication Mounjaro, which includes an active substance called tirzepatide known for its appetite-reducing effects.

Katie previously confided to The Sun about Harvey’s ongoing battle with his weight and health, saying: “The good thing about starting him on the drug is, if it has any effect, you can stop it because you do it weekly.

“We’ve tried food, he’s had dietitians, it’s just the way he is. And he’s on a lot of medication which the drug won’t affect. They want to try him on it for at least one or two years, which is a long time, but they’ll control what level he needs then up it as they assess it.”
