Nicola Peltz penned a heartbreaking tribute to her late grandmothers as she was reminded of them both during an annual sporting event.

The 30 year old actress and filmmaker is the daughter of billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner – while her grandmothers were named Bunny and Gina.

Nicola was incredibly close to her grandmothers – with Bunny granted the honour of maid of honour at her wedding to Brooklyn Beckham in April 2022 – and was left devastated when they passed away in recent years.

Bunny passed away in May 2024 at the age of 95, while Gina passed away in January 2020 on Nicola’s birthday.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Nicola shared a series of photographs of herself smiling and laughing alongside the two women. She penned a heartfelt message alongside the string of images – making it clear both were still close to her heart.

The Transformers: Age of Extinction actress wrote: “In life we have core memories and this is one of my most favourite days I’ve ever lived. They were my best friends, there wasn’t a day I wasn’t with them.”

She continued: “To my Naunni and my Gina I can’t fathom the thought of not being able to hug you or hear your laugh right now – I just miss you both so much. The farther I get from the day you left Earth scares me because I feel like I get farther from you.”, reports the Mirror.

Nicola shared a heartfelt message alongside some throwback snaps, saying: “I remember this day so clearly, I got us all matching Dior fancy sneakers and I was so proud to match you both this whole summer.”

She then linked the memory to a current event, adding: “The Kentucky Derby is today and I will never forget watching it on tv with you both every year. I love you both more than anything and think of you every second.”

Nicola expressed her deep affection and longing for the two, continuing: “I hope you’re together right now looking after me and I hope I see you soon. To my forever soulmates I more than love you because the word love doesn’t touch how you have made me feel growing up.”

She further emphasized her feelings, stating: “I felt more than loved and that is what I feel for you both, more than love.”

Amidst these touching revelations, Nicola’s post comes at a time when rumours are swirling about tensions between her and hubby Brooklyn, and his famous family, the Beckhams.

David Beckham has been marking his 50th birthday with a series of bashes, including a shindig at his Cotswolds pad followed by festivities in France on Friday, and a star-studded do at a swanky London eatery on Saturday night.

However, Brooklyn and Nicola were noticeably missing from the celebrations and didn’t even post any online tributes to David, which is rumoured to have left the football legend quite upset.

A source spilled the beans to The Sun, revealing: “David is heartbroken but putting a brave face on it…. Brooklyn actually informed his parents a while ago that he and his wife, Nicola, would not be attending but, of course, David and Victoria desperately hoped he would change his mind.

“It’s a dagger to the heart that he hasn’t attended a single one of David’s 50th celebrations – and hurts the whole family including the grandparents and siblings.”

Despite efforts to squash rumours of a feud between Nicola Peltz and her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham by showing mutual support online and at fashion dos, whispers of family tension have been reignited.

Word on the street is that Brooklyn has had a falling out with his little bro Romeo over his choice in lady friend.

On Saturday night, Romeo, aged 22, rocked up with his missus Kim Turnbull, 24, in the same motor as Cruz Beckham, 20, and his other half Jackie Apostel, 29. The fab four were all smiles as they turned up to celebrate in their glitzy garb.
