We’re just days away from our next dose of Love Island and this year’s rumoured cast includes the likes of a former fire breather, footballers and a stunning actress
This year’s Love Island stars look as hot as ever.
The new series of the ITV hit will air next Monday (June 9), so we’re just days away from watching a new batch of singletons crack on in the Spanish sun. Host Maya Jama is back and her class of 2025 apparently includes the likes of a former fire breather, a footballer and (who’d have guessed it) some stunning models.
Over 300 Islanders have set foot in paradise over the years, and this year’s cast will be looking to cement their place in villa history. Last year, Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan became the first black couple to win the show, before they announced their split just weeks later.
Let’s take a look at this year’s rumoured cast.
Megan Forte Clarke
Dubliner, 24-year-old Dubliner Megan recently starred as one of the Ugly Sisters in Cinderella, but it’s safe to say she’s anything but ugly. The stunning brunette has been compared to Love Island legend Maura Higgins.
However, Megan’s compared herself to unlucky-in-love Bridget Jones, musing: “I am the modern day Bridget Jones. Can I hold a man down? Don’t be silly. Have I just been ghosted again? Absolutely. Am I still funny AF with great t**s? Obvs.
Speaking to the Mail about the comparisons between Megan and Maura, a TV source said: “Megan is a gorgeous girl, she’s funny, and right now, couldn’t be unluckier in love, making her the perfect Islander. Comparisons to Maura are inevitable and if anything, Megan will see it as a huge compliment.”
Tommy Bradley
Love Island casting agents have reportedly signed up “cheeky chappy” Tommy Bradley for the latest series of the show.
The gym-loving Londoner, who appears to be an avid fan of Tottenham Hotspur, is said to have undergone a huge body transformation in preparation for his time in the villa.
A source told The Sun: “Tommy seems to tick all the Love Island boxes as the cheeky chappy of this summer’s series.”
Sophie Lee
29-year-old Sophie Lee from Manchester is a former fire breather who suffered horror burns on her face and was left fighting for her life at the age of 22. The dancer was involved in a terrifying accident when an air-conditioning unit blew flames back into her face.
Sophie is now an influencer and motivational speaker who has worked with Loose Women star Katie Piper’s foundation. In February last year, she released a book titled In My Skin.
Announcing the book at the time, she wrote: “It’s been a difficult process being so open with the trauma I’ve faced and adversity I’ve had to overcome and to now be at a place of peace has not been easy.”
A source said: “A source said: “Sophie is a gorgeous girl and a powerhouse of a woman who has overcome everything life has thrown at her.
“Just like Tasha Ghouri’s amazing time in the villa where she raised awareness for the hearing impaired, Love Island bosses are thrilled to give Sophie the same platform to discuss her accident and how she’s become comfortable in her skin since.”
Harry Cooksley
30-year-old footballer Harry Cooksley will also be looking to score in the villa. The midfielder has been branded Surrey’s answer to French legend, Zinadine Zidane.
A source told The Sun: “Harry’s got the full package – a great, athletic bod and great chat. Love Island’s ladies love a footballer and The Surrey Zidane will be sure to impress as he plays away. Execs are finalising who will be in the OG line-up and who will be a bombshell.”
Dejon Noel Williams
Harry isn’t the only footballer taking a shot at love, as personal trainer Dejon has also signed up to the show. The 26-year-old fitness fanatic, is a semi-professional footballer for Bedford Town and has played for the Grenada national football team.
He posts plenty of ripped gym snaps on his Instagram account, where he’s racked up over 11k followers. His bio reads: “I go beyond the gym-helping you build Strength, Confidence and Discipline for life.”
Shakira Khan
22-year-old Shakira loves to travel and has plenty of snaps from places like Haiti, Dubai and New York. In one of her snaps, she told her followers on Instagram: “Haiti cos u ain’t me” as she posed in a silver thong bikini.
A source said: “Shakira is jaw-droppingly gorgeous and will land a place in Love Island’s history books as a real beauty.”
Blu Chegini
Businessman Blu graduated from Oxford Brooks university in 2023 with a degree in Construction Project Management. Seems like it was the right choice as he’s now a construction project manager.
Blue is based in London where he works for a company in swanky Fitzrovia. However, he won’t be afraid of the Spanish sun as he also spends a lot of time in Marbella.
Alima Gagigo
Stunning Scot Alima is both beauty and brains as she secured a BA Hons degree in International Business from Caledonian University. She often posts snaps from her dazzling holidays in places including Morocco, Portugal, Greece and Spain.
The beautiful brunette also loves a trip down south to London for a fancy dinner and cocktails with her friends. She’s got over 2.2k followers on Instagram.
Kyle Ashman
Kyle is something of a mystery as he doesn’t have a ton of Instagram photos to swoon over before his entrance into the villa. He has just one photo of himself on his feed but it’s safe to say we’re looking at quality over quantity here as his muscles do all the talking.
The snap shows him cutting a pretty serious pose on a rooftop with an impressive six-pack.
Megan Moore
Bombshell blonde Megan also likes to travel and often posts sizzling snaps of herself in the sun on Instagram. She was seen in Spain just two weeks ago (training for the villa?).
Not much is known about the singleton, but she has thousands of followers on Instagram. One of her followers replied to a shot of her in a gorgeous white top and skirt, posing in her her garden, gushing: “Stunning girl!”
Helena Ford
Influencer Helena is mates with former Love Island star, Zara McDermott. Perhaps she’s nabbed some tips off of Louis Tomlinson’s new flame before her debut in the villa.
The star has been pictured in places such as Cape Town, Lake Como in Italy, DUbai and Miami. She also has a TikTok account, where she posts ‘Come with me’ videos from her travels.
Ben Holbrough
Model Ben will be flexing his muscles in the villa next week. The Islander has posted some shirtless snaps on Instagram.
In a video on his Star Now modelling page, he says: “My main line of work is modelling, which I’ve been doing for about five or six years now. But when I’m not doing that, my hobbies are either going to the gym or playing football.”
