Lola Young could be set to find the right fella at Glastonbury as she like a bit of rough as we’re sure a few of the lads will be feeling after a long weekend at Worthy Farm
Messy isn’t just the name of Lola Young’s biggest hit, it’s also how she likes her men.
The Croydon star wowed Glastonbury last night and was on the look out for the next Mr Young, and she was definitely in the right place. Speaking about her type Lola confessed: “ Men that just look like they’ve been homeless just for a little bit.
“They haven’t shaved the beard. The hair’s not quite done it’s just a bit outgrown. you look like you’ve slightly been dragged through a bush. “It’s attractive. You’re not everyday clean, that’s hot. That’s a red flag, but it’s also hot.”
Not clean? Glasto has plenty of those, especially come Sunday! When it comes to her own style Lola has to be immaculate especially with footwear, in fact she will only wear trainers once then get rid.
“It has to be fresh out of the box for me. (Nike) Air Force Ones you can only wear them once,” Lola revealed. “(If) they’ve got a crease, you know, I can’t wear them again. I don’t care how much money I’m gonna have I would probably do that.”
Lola isn’t just thinking about music, she wants to become a brand and design her own shoes and more. “I’d love to if a brand reaches out,” she admitted.
“Billie Eilish did some sh*t with Nike, and, yeah, I would love to do that. But I want to create my own eyelashes. So that would be my first step and then maybe we talk about shoes. I’m also bad with designing sh*t. I don’t know what to think. I need somebody to help, like, they might as well just done them themselves.”
Lola’s new album arrives after the summer and she says it’s a step up: “My second album, that feels really special and even better than the last one. “I feel like it’s a step up, for me and my creativity and my scope. I’m talking a lot about other topics and subjects that I haven’t touched on in my life. Just melodically, the songs are really strong.
“The choruses are banging. The structures of the songs are like kind of weird and quirky, but then they’re also cohesive. So it feels like that, and that’s it feels like a step up.”
