Oscar nominations 2020: Full list of nominations for 92nd Academy Awards

This Sunday, February 9, the biggest names in cinema will descend upon the Dolby theatre in Hollywood for the 92nd Academy Awards.

All eyes are on how World War 1 epic 1917, South Korean thriller Parasite and Joker get on, with all three expected to pick up multiple awards at the Oscars.

1917 is in pole position to pick up Best Picture, but some experts are expecting Parasite to pull off a huge upset to become the first ever film in a foreign language to win the award.

Joaquin Phoenix is yet to win an Oscar in his illustrious career but that is expected to come to an end on Sunday.

His intense performance as the Joker won a huge amount of plaudits and has already picked up multiple awards this year, including the BAFTA for Best Actor last week.

It would be a massive shock if he doesn’t pick up the same award at the Oscars.

It has been 16 years since Renee Zellweger last won an Oscar, and she is expected become the 21st woman to win more than one Oscar for acting for her role in the Judy Garland biopic Judy.
