Charlotte Crosby 'selling hand sanitiser for £1k a bottle' amid coronavirus outbreak

Charlotte Crosby has shared a video with social media spectators joking that she is off-loading a hand sanitiser for £1,000 a bottle amid the coronavirus crisis.

The former Geordie Shore star shared the quick clip during a home cooking session on Instagram which showed her using the antibacterial lotion before naming a price for the small and in demand bottle.

During the tutorial she appeared to joke with viewers and said: “For £1,000 a bottle make sure you get onto my eBay shop.”

As the global crisis takes it toll across the world and the UK supermarkets have been left empty of every day household products such as toilet paper, paracetamol, pasta and hand sanitiser as people prepare for a possible lock down.

The 29-year-old made the comments as coronavirus was declared a “pandemic” by health officials.

It’s not the first time that Charlotte has come up against critics for making a mockery of the virus that has now claimed many lives across the globe.

During her time in Bali, she posted a picture of herself and some of her pals enjoying their time at a hen do party.

The entire bridal party were snapped wearing face masks which some social media spectators implied was distasteful.

“Best friends forever. Bali b*****s”

However, it would seem that MTV are taking sanctions and protection to prevent further spread of coronavirus and have cancelled their up and coming event that Charlotte was supposed to attend.

MTV’s Reality Con event was due to take place in May this year but has since been cancelled due to the outbreak and have now postponed the event until next year.

The event aims to celebrate some of the best TV reality stars and spans across three days, attendees such as Joey Essex and Chloe’s former onscreen peer Chloe Ferry.

With the swanky London event now cancelled, an insider told The Sun Online: “MTV would rather be safe than sorry and the safety of the fans and talent come first.”

More and more large scale events are cancelling as Boris Johnson announced that the UK has now reached the next phase in the process.

The “delay” phase means that all citizens may be told to self isolate at home while the country tries to contain the wide spread virus.

There is also reportedly more bad news for Charlotte as The Sun claimed her MTV shows Just Tattoo of Us and The Charlotte Show have been cancelled by MTV.
