Timothée Chalamet took to Twitter earlier today to express his sadness following the outbreak of coronavirus in Crema, Italy, where the heartthrob filmed the coming of age film, Call Me By Your Name which catapulted him to international fame.
The New Yorker, 24, was “sending love” to the residents of Crema and reflected on his memories that he made during his time in the city.
Timothée has previously spoken about spending time in the city with co-star Armie Hammer claiming that they would frequently hang out and either watch Mike Tyson documentaries, enjoy bike rides or simply sit together and drink espressos.

The New York Times has dubbed the production a “funny, moving, altogether wonderful drama” and it appears that Chalamet is a fan of cycling.
4000 Miles will see his 21-year old character vanish while cycling across the United States with his best friend.
Following weeks of silence, he suddenly appears on his grandmother’s doorstep in Manhattan.
Despite the UK government urging the public to attend theatres, pubs and cinemas – its believed that 4000 Miles will still go ahead at The Old Vic.
Timothée shot to fame when he became the youngest-ever Best Actor nominee at the Oscar awards for his portrayal of Elio in Call Me By Your Name.
