Swae Lee Announces New Album, Treates Fans to Online Concert Amid Self-Isolation on Instagram Live

    Instagram

During the live streaming on his Instagram page, the Rae Sremmurd rapper jokingly thanks everyone for a ‘out venue’ as he performed for more than 20,000 fans worldwide.
    Mar 23, 2020
AceShowbiz – Swae Lee thrilled fans when he took to Instagram Live on Friday, March 20, night for an impromptu concert by sharing his plans for a new album.
Several acts, including Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, and Niall Horan, are keeping fans amused during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic by streaming performances on social media, as World Health Organisation (WHO) officials advise people to practice social distancing and stay at home in a bid to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
As the Rae Sremmurd rapper took to the site with just a microphone, he jokingly thanked everyone for a “sold out venue” as he performed for more than 20,000 fans worldwide.
The virtual show lasted about 45 minutes, and Swae performed hits including “No Type”, “Someone Said”, and “Sunflower”. He also played tracks he features on, including Jhene Aiko’s “Sativa”.
Joking about the unusual set-up, the star tried to keep things as authentic as possible, attempting to “crowd surf” and even bringing one fan “on stage” – as they shared screen space during the broadcast.
The star also announced the name of his new album, “Human Nature”, and hinted he’s hard at work finishing the project while he self-isolates amid the pandemic.

Eurovision Contest to Exclude 2020 Songs From 2021 Competition

Though ruling out the songs entered into this year’s canceled show from next year’s, European Broadcasting Union notes that countries could still send the same artist.
    Mar 23, 2020
AceShowbiz – The songs that were entered into this year’s cancelled Eurovision Song Contest will not be eligible for the 2021 show, organisers have confirmed.
In a statement shared on the official Eurovision Twitter page earlier this week (begin March 16), it was confirmed that the event, set to be held in Rotterdam in the Netherlands in May, had been called off, due to “the uncertainty created by the spread of COVID-19 throughout Europe”.
On Friday, producers released a statement confirming that songs that were entered into the 2020 event cannot be held over to next year’s event.
However, European Broadcasting Union (EBU) officials have said countries could still send the same artist they had hoped would represent them in what was to have been the 65th edition of the show.
The announcement came as the EBU confirmed plans to “honour the songs and artists” chosen to perform this year with an online event, telling fans in a statement: “We have been overwhelmed with the love that the Eurovision Song Contest family has shared since the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 event.”
“As such, the EBU and its members are currently exploring alternative programming, but not a competition, to help unite and entertain audiences around Europe during these challenging times,” the statement continued. “It is our intention with this programming, and on our online platforms in the coming months, to honour the songs and artists which have been chosen for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020.”

Organisers concluded: “We ask for your continued patience while we work through practical implications of these ideas in the coming days and weeks.”

Performing in front of a roaring fire while on lockdown at home, Diamond launched his new version with a video message, stating, “I know we’re going through a rough time right now, but I love you, and I think maybe if we sing together well, we might feel a little bit better.”

With teen idol good looks, enviable style, amazing vocals and skilled dance skill, it’s easy to see why a lot of people are addicted to the nine-piece boyband.
    Mar 23, 2020
AceShowbiz – With the “hallyu” wave of South Korea in the U.S. right now, many K-Pop bands have started to spread their wings stateside. It’s surely not an easy thing to do, as there are only a few who actually make it big in the U.S. Among them is NCT 127, a sub-unit of NCT.
With teen idol good looks, enviable style, amazing vocals and skilled dance skill, it’s easy to see why a lot of people are addicted to the nine-piece boyband. The proof of that could be seen in how well their music perform in charts, including their latest album “Neo Zone”.
The record, which hit the stores on March 6, opened at No. 5 on Billboard 200. Selling more than 80,000 equivalent unit albums, it marked NCT 127’s highest-charting album in the country. They also joined a few number of K-Pop groups, including BTS a.k.a. Bangtan Boys, who have made it to the top five of the weekly charts.
Furthermore, the album was well received by music critics. Alexis Hodoyan-Gastelum of Consequence of Sound said that “Neo Zone” showed NCT 127 at their best. According to the critic, it “checks off all the boxes when it comes to playing to their strengths, which include vocal versatility, a diversified selection of hip-hop and R&B jams, and giving fans a fun, good time.”
NCT 127 is set to hit the road in the U.S. to promote the album. Talking about their upcoming trek in an interview, member Doyoung teased, “I hope our fans expect to see the very diverse sides of our group and a lot of new performances. And on days we’re not performing, I want to explore the cities we visit and make memories there!”
Meanwhile, Yuta said, “We’ve been preparing a lot of songs and performances that specifically point to our memories with our fans and also lots of cool individual performances, so you can look forward to that!”

Jennifer Lopez's Planned U.K. Tour Thrown Up in the Air Due to Coronavirus Crisis

    WENN/Instar

Aside from the ‘Love Don’t Cost a Thing’ hitmaker, other stars like Cher, Madonna, Mariah Carey and Billie Eilish have also been affected by the ongoing pandemic following WHO’s social distancing advice.
    Mar 23, 2020
AceShowbiz – Jennifer Lopez’s plans to hit the road this year with a new world tour have reportedly been axed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
According to Britain’s The Sun newspaper, the 50-year-old hitmaker was set to hit the road with a new world tour, but the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” hitmaker’s plans have dashed due to the global health crisis.
“Jennifer was involved in talks about a series of headline UK shows which promoters believed would sell out in an instant,” a source said. “Unfortunately, the current situation has thrown a spanner in the works and those talks are no longer happening at the moment. With artists being forced to cancel tours left, right and centre, it just doesn’t make sense to push forward with her plans now.”
Numerous stars have been affected by the pandemic, with Cher, Madonna, Mariah Carey and Billie Eilish among the acts cancelling shows, as the World Health Organisation (WHO) advises people to practice social distancing and stay home in a bid to prevent the spread of Covid-19, which has seen more than 315,000 cases registered, resulting in a death toll of over 13,500.
Earlier this week (begins March 16), Jennifer told fans on social media she was at home with 12-year-old twins Max and Emme, where she was “reading scripts, developing new projects, even working out and learning new dance routines,” as she hopes to “bounce back” once the virus is eliminated.

Noah Cyrus Gives Herself River Baptism in 'I Got So High That I Saw Jesus' Music Video

    [embedded content]

Talking about the song in an interview, the sister of Miley Cyrus says that she hopes her new song ‘resonates with people, especially with all that is going on in the world right now.’
    Mar 23, 2020
AceShowbiz – Noah Cyrus has released a new single inspired by a spiritual awakening she had while high.
Miley Cyrus’ little sister dropped “I Got So High That I Saw Jesus” on Friday (20Mar20), and an accompanying video, in which she baptises herself in a lake.
And she explains the track is based on a real moment she had, when Jesus Christ told her that everything will be OK.
“This song is not about or for one religion or belief system,” she tells WENN in a statement. “Jesus basically represents a greater understanding and knowledge that everything has its purpose and everything will work itself out the way it’s supposed to… I was born and raised Christian with strong beliefs and still hold those values.”
“I was smoking weed one night, and had this epiphany, then wrote the song, hence the title. I hope this song resonates with people, especially with all that is going on in the world right now. Humans have evolved in so many beautiful ways, but we’ve also gotten so out of touch with the world, and each other.”
