Emmerdale's Lyndon Ogbourne welcomes adorable baby son with wife Marina

Emmerdale actor Lyndon Ogbourne has just become a father to an adorable baby boy named Jack, breaking the news over Instagram.

The former soap star and his wife Marina seem chuffed to welcome the little one into the family, sharing sweet snaps of the youngster.

Breaking the news to his followers, he said: “Jack River Ogbourne. 03.02.2020.

“Marina, I didn’t realise I could fall deeper in love with you, but I have. You’ve brought us an actual angel.

“Thank you. Overwhelmed beyond the stars.”

Later, the proud dad shared video footage of himself carrying his little one out of the hospital, excited to bring him home for the first time.

Lyndon is known to soap fans for playing bad boy Nathan Wylde on the show, making his first appearance in 2009.

He exited the soap the following year, left penniless and friendless having alienated his family in hard-to-watch scenes.

Following his Emmerdale departure, Lyndon said: “Emmerdale has been such an incredible experience for me and the final act of the Wyldes’ drama will be so gripping.

“I’ve had great fun and learned so much from creating one of the most love-to-hate Emmerdale characters.

“But my personal ambition and excitement for future projects has led me to feel this is the right time to leave.

“But I believe this won’t be the last you’ve seen of devilish Nathan Wylde.”

In 2011, he hit the stage, touring the UK in Agatha Christie’s play The Verdict.

Since then, the new dad has turned away from acting, and currently describes himself as an Art Director and Set Designer.
