Strictly Come Dancing fans have called for Anton du Beke to be made a permanent judge on the hit BBC show.
Anton has appeared on the judging panel for the past two weekends and he’s clearly been a hit with viewers at home.
The professional dancer stepped in for usual judge Motsi Mabuse after she was forced to isolate following a recent trip to Germany.
On Sunday night’s show, Motsi joined via video link and thanked Anton for standing in for her.
And as Strictly host Claudia Winkleman bid him farewell, viewers were quick to take to Twitter and voice their opinions.

One person tweeted: “Petition to get Anton Du Beke as a permanent judge on Strictly the nation love him.”
A second added: “Sounds like they’re not keeping Anton on as a judge once Motsi is back, and personally, I am gutted.”
A third disappointed fan posted: “Keep Anton du Beke as a judge in Strictly! Go back to four judges!”

A fourth called for Strictly bosses to replace current judge Bruno Tonioli with 54-year-old Anton.
They tweeted: “Can Anton stay as a judge on Strictly he’s so much better than Bruno!”
This week, Anton thanked Strictly bosses for granting his showbiz wish to become a judge on the hit BBC show.
Speaking for the first time about his new temporary role, he told The Mail on Sunday: “Thank goodness they gave me that job. My ego was around my ankles after getting booted off first this year.”

The ballroom dancer also revealed how his wife Hannah burst into tears when he got off the phone to the show’s bosses earlier this month after being told that he would be joining the panel after competing on the show for 16 years.
“It came out of the blue. We heard Motsi had to go back to Germany and I didn’t know what they were going to do,” he continued.

“Then, I got a phone call when they asked me to do it. I was so, so happy. I love the show. I love everything about it, so to finally get a chance to judge it was incredible.
“My wife cried when I told her but I also thought that it would give me something to do for the rest of the series.
“When you’re voted off at the beginning you have nothing to do. It’s easy not to feel part of the show because you’re sitting in the audience watching everyone else dance. So thank goodness they gave me the judging job.”
Anton was partnered with former Home Secretary Jacqui Smith in this year’s competition, but they were voted out in the first dance off.
