Chris Hughes has defended ex-girlfriend Jesy Nelson after Katie Hopkins cruelly trolled the singer on social media.
Moving past their recent split, the Love Islander hit out at the outspoken star as she criticised the Little Mix member in a savage online attack.
Katie Hopkins, who is known for her outspoken views, blasted Jesy for her “desperate” bikini pictures in a brutal tweet, which was instantly criticised by fans.
The 45-year-old wrote: “These desperate daily pics are showing that contrivance of a documentary to be darn insincere. Girls. Be better than this. Beauty is in strength, not weakness that needs validating daily.”

Upset by Katie’s negative comments, Chris ended his social media hiatus by calling her out on Twitter.
The reality TV star praised his former girlfriend’s “beauty” and “strength” and labelled the mum-of-three a “b****” in a foul-mouthed tirade.
He began: “How about don’t be a b**** your whole life and let that person live.
“You tried it once years back, and it affected her mentally, just don’t be that a*******.
“She has strength, she has beauty, and she has a heart that only you could dream of having.”
While Chris’ remarks didn’t go unnoticed by social media users, Jesy also decided to wade into the feud.
Not letting Katie get the better of her, the Touch hitmaker slipped her curves into a flesh-flashing ensemble for another picture.

Wearing a pair of high-waisted camo pants and a nude-coloured crop top, she flaunting her killer abs in the sun-dappled snap.
Posing with her hands in her pockets, Jesy smouldered for the camera as she showed off her body from all angles.
Making a subtle dig, she wrote: “Have another one, hun.”
