Dua Lipa believes robots will have taken over the world – and possibly pop music – 20 years from now.
The star is currently the No1 pop female on the planet, but she reckons that same planet’s future may resemble the one in films like Terminator.
Dua explained: “When people imagined 2020, they probably thought of flying spaceships or stuff like that.
“Who knows what we’ll see in 20 years from now?
“I imagine that there will be fewer people working in shops and that we will be replaced by robots.”
The same could be said for the music world with artificial intelligence software already having a go at creating tunes.

She responded: “Will computers be the new pop stars? It could happen.
“But I think people still like having someone who is real, someone with special intelligence, not artificial.”
That’s good news for Dua’s career as she’s just landed her first Official Charts No1 album with Future Nostalgia.
She said: “Getting a No1 in my home country is a dream come true.”
Having all this time at home has got her thinking about, er, robots, science and what her greatest fantasy wish would be.
She said: “Being able to travel through time, in the sense of being able to stop time to enjoy the moment.

“Or teleportation, moving between places immediately would greatly simplify my work and my life.”
However, being a chart-topper isn’t all pasta buffets and toilet roll blow-outs.
She added: “I don’t remember ever being hated before I became famous.
“Since my career started growing though, I feel that everything I do is under scrutiny by the public.
“Today everyone hates something or someone but you can’t take any notice of it. My music wants to be fun. Pop must be fun.”
