EastEnders ‘ Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) could soon be killed off as she had a knife held to her neck by Leo King’s mum Michaela in a shock cliffhanger.
EastEnders spoilers are yet to reveal Whitney’s fate, but it doesn’t look good as she had already told her friends and family that she was planning to leave Walford, and had written goodbye letters.
Whitney is terrified she will be sent to prison for killing Leo King, despite proving that he was a dangerous stalker and she stabbed him in self-defence.
As Max told her that Michaela had been arrested, Whitney decided once and for all that she was going to stay on Albert Square, but there was a twist.
She ran outside to give Max his phone back, but was attacked by Michaela who put a knife to her neck and said: “You scream and it will be the last sound you make.”
It seems that Whitney is about to be kidnapped as Michaela tries to extort a confession from her, but fans were distracted by a hole in the story.
Whitney was told that Gray had managed to get Michaela arrested after she had posted about her online, trying to convince people that she murdered Leo King out of spite and not self-defence.
But as she was confronted by Michaela, fans were confused about how Michaela managed to get arrested, questioned and released by the police all in just a few hours.
One fan posted: “HOW THE HECK DID MICHAELA GET ARRESTED BUT NOW SHE’S RELEASED?”

Another added: “The Met police arrested, charged and bailed Michaela all within a couple hours? Nah. And that cliffhanger was really putting a hat on a hat.”
A third chipped in: “Arrested, well Michaela was released quickly.”
But a fourth wrote: “She was arrested but she had to be released at some point. She clearly had bail conditions that she ignored.”

Another agreed: “Good point, she was probably out on bail but broke the conditions.”
Is Whitney going to be okay as she finds herself at the mercy of Michaela?
Or is she about to meet a grisly end?
EastEnders continues next Monday at 8pm on BBC.
