Emily Ratajkowski flaunts baby bump during first appearance since pregnancy news

Model Emily Ratajkowski has shown off her growing baby bump for the first time while making a public appearance.

The 29-year-old took to the streets of New York City’s Tribeca yesterday afternoon shortly after her interview with Vogue Magazine dropped in which she announced she was pregnant.

While running some errands, the beauty didn’t have to hide her bump anymore as she donned a tight little black dress.

The tight body-con piece featured a cut-out detailing on her side as she flashed the flesh and a cheeky bit of side boob as she paced down the streets of the Big Apple.

Featuring long sleeves and reaching all the way down to her calves, Emily kept the majority of her skin covered in the colder weather.

To add some bold colours to the look she opted for a pair of bright red high-heeled boots.

She wore her long brunette hair tousled down her back as she smiled for photographers who snapped her phoyo.

Clutching her phone and sunglasses, Emily looked happier than ever as she couldn’t help but smile.

Emily opened up to Vogue all about her pregnancy including how she won’t be revealing the gender of her child and how they “won’t know the gender until they are 18”.

Emily told the publication: “We won’t know the gender until our child is 18 and that they’ll let us know then. Everyone laughs at this.”

She continued: “I like the idea of forcing as few gender stereotypes on my child as possible.

“But no matter how progressive I may hope to be, I understand the desire to know the gender of our fetus; it feels like the first real opportunity to glimpse who they might be.”

Emily added: “As my body changes in bizarre and unfamiliar ways, it’s comforting to obtain any information that might make what’s coming feel more real.”

She continued: “It occurs to me that as a younger person I’d almost automatically imagined myself having a daughter.

“I remember playing as a child, holding baby dolls and picturing myself with a future best friend: something like the American Girl doll I owned, who had brown eyes and brown hair to mirror my own features, a smaller version of myself.”
