Katie Price is reportedly locked in a row with her late puppy’s breeder who is adamant they told the star to “never leave Rolo alone”.
The 41-year-old gifted the French Bulldog to daughter Princess for her 13th birthday earlier this month – but both were left in tears when the puppy died in a freak accident.
Katie has been trolled over the dog’s untimely passing, and social media users quickly jumped to the JRC Bullies page who bred the pooch.
However, the breeders have now broken their silence and insisted they gave the mum-of-five “strict instructions” regarding the care of the little pup.

A spokesman from dog breeders JRC Bullies told the Mirror: “We are heartbroken that this has happened as we told Katie not to leave a small puppy on its own.
“We can’t believe that the puppy was left unattended as we had left strict instructions.”
According to the publication, the pet suffocated when it was crushed in an electric-powered armchair.
Since news of Rolo’s death surfaced, JRC Bullies posted a lengthy statement on Instagram explaining they did “everything” to make sure the dog was getting “the perfect five-star home”.
The breeders wrote: “Just like to say how devastated we are about the news we have seen online about Rolo (NOTORIOUS).
“First of all for everybody who’s sending their hate messages and telling us what we should have done or could have done it is really not needed, for the people commenting on our page for something that we couldn’t control also is not needed, we did absolutely everything we possibly could have done to make sure Rolo was getting the perfect five-star home.”

They added: “We visited the property, we saw exactly where he would be living, we settled him in before leaving and then we kept in contact with Princess Andre to check on him.”
The statement concluded: “Rolo’s death was a tragic accident that had nothing at all to do with his health or JRC Bullies.
“Rest in Peace our special and unique little man you will be truly missed.”
Meanwhile, PETA Director Elisa Allen has branded Katie “irresponsible” after “at least three dogs and one horse have died on her watch”.
Her full statement read: “For dogs’ sake, Katie must not be allowed to acquire any more animals.
“At least three dogs and one horse have died on her watch in the last few years alone – and she’s also tried to sell off two cats on Instagram as though they were shoes she no longer wore.
“Her irresponsible attitude is costing wonderful animals their lives, so PETA urges her – and anyone else unable to provide animals with appropriate care – to fill their homes with cuddly toys instead.”
