Lauren Goodger flouted social distancing rules over the weekend by hosting a party at her Essex flat with some friends during the coronavirus pandemic.
The 33-year-old was seen hosting a gathering as snaps from the shin-dig were posted on her friend John Haynes’ Instagram page over the weekend.
A representative for the TOWIE star told the MailOnline that Lauren was unaware that she could not have friends at her house as she “didn’t understand the guidelines”.
It’s been said Lauren claimed she broke lockdown rules partly due to “seeing other people doing the same on Instagram”, but has since educated herself about what is and isn’t allowed in terms of guidelines.

Lauren’s spokesperson told the publication: “Lauren was unaware she wasn’t allowed friends in her house. She was informed this was allowed and that lockdown rules had been lifted slightly…
“She had also seen people having similar gatherings on other people’s Instagram stories.
“Lauren has been told to look at the government website and now understands the guidelines.”

The representative continued: “Lauren isn’t in a relationship. Her saying that John was her boyfriend was a joke.”
Lauren made headlines after opening up about dating, admitting she’s done with being in relationships with “bad boys”.
She dated Joey Morrison for two years before he was sentenced to jail time in 2018 for crimes including possession of a firearm, kidnapping, blackmail, and actual bodily harm.

After that, she dated Jake McLean, who was jailed for three-and-a-half years after conning his way into a mother’s house, overpowering her before a masked gang ran in and raided the family home.
Lauren, who shot to fame as Mark Wright’s other half on TOWIE, has said she is done with “bad boys” in a new candid interview.
Speaking about her past relationships, she told Closer magazine: “I don’t like bad boys – I won’t be going for one again. They’re not my usual type.
“Mark wasn’t a bad boy and neither was Jake. I want someone who’s genuine and could be a good father. I’d go out with a normal bloke who works in an office – if he’s fit.”
