Love Island fans have come up with a wild theory as to why Siânnise Fudge and Luke Trotman coming second to Paige Turley and Finn Tapp is likely to mean they will stay together.
The majority of viewers were over the moon that Paige and Finn were crowned the winners of the first ever winter series of the ITV dating show, but some believe it should have been Siânnise and Luke T’s fairytale ending.
However, fans have shared a conspiracy theory until why it might be best to come in second place on the show rather than to come first.
Taking to Twitter, fans have said it is actually good for the future of their relationship.

Eagle-eyed viewers noted how the majority of former Love Island couples who have stayed together came in second place.
Last year Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea came first but split shortly after, whereas second place stars Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury are still very much loved-up.
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “If anyone’s disappointed about Siânnise and Luke T being runners-up, just remember..,” followed by a snap of all the former second place couples who are still together.
A second tweeted: “Second couples always stay together anyways!”
Another commented: “More likely to have a relationship if they don’t win.”
In the 2017 series, Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt lost out to Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay but the second place couple are still together while Kem and Amber broke-up not long after.

In 2016, love birds Alex Bowen and Olivia Buckland came second to Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey, and now both couples are happily married.
Siânnise and Luke T have already addressed their future together and discussed on the show how their wedding will be a “fairytale”.
They are also planning to move in together and are “excited” to look at properties.
