Britney Spears’ dad Jamie is reportedly living in an RV in Kentucky, despite earning millions through her conservatorship.
The news comes as Jamie released a statement insisting he “loves his daughter very much” after she spoke against him at her conservatorship court hearing on Wednesday.
The pop star made a remote appearance at the hearing and revealed some shocking truths about her years in the controversial conservatorship.
Following Britney’s declarations, Jamie Spears’ legal team have released a statement backing up the fact he loves his daughter.
They said: “He is sorry to see his daughter suffering and in so much pain. Mr Spears loves his daughter very much.”
According to the New York Times, 68-year-old Jamie has reportedly moved back to his hometown in Kentwood, Louisiana, and has sold the house that Britney grew up in.
He is living in a mobile home parked at a warehouse, which, according to reports, contains Britney memorabilia from over the years.
The conservatorship has run the pop star’s life for the past 13 years, with her father at the helm of making decisions for her.
Fans have since found it strange that her “controlling” father has swapped a house for an RV when he rakes in millions from the deal.
Britney’s fans have also been outraged at the fact he only gives her an allowance of $2,000 a week, and they argue the star has earned her right to spend her money however she pleases.
Britney has been strangely quiet throughout the whole “Free Britney” movement, with subtle hints here and there expressing her stance on the movement.

In court, on Wednesday the hearing heard Britney passionately state that she wants an end to the conservatorship.
The agreement was created in 2008 and she has been opposing it quietly for the past several years.
Britney told Los Angeles Judge Brenda Penny via remote link: “I want this conservatorship to end – I truly believe that this conservatorship is abusive.
“I want to be able to get married to my boyfriend and have a baby but the conservatorship told me I can’t do that.
“I have an IUD [intrauterine device] inside me to prevent me from having a baby. I want to go to a doctor and take it out so I can have a baby but they [the conservatorship] told me no.
“I feel ganged up on and bullied and alone.”
