Good Morning Britain turned slightly awkward on Wednesday’s show when Andi Peters traveled across the country to crown a competition winner.
As part of the dosh on your doorstep giveaway, Andi knocked on the winner’s door – only for a shirtless man to open it.
Moments previously, Andi was concerned when he heard dogs barking inside the property, and shouted: “Oh, there’s more than one dog.
“It’s Andi Peters from the telly! Do you know who I am?”
Richard Madeley, who was watching the giveaway play out from the studio, remarked: “Maybe you have to kick it [the door] down?”
Thankfully, the shirtless man opened the door a crack, and as soon as he saw Andi, he remarked: “God…”
Andi replied: “Good morning, is Elaine there? Is she there, sir?
“We’ll happily wait outside.”
Asking for “one second,” the shirtless man proceeded to close the door, looking for his mother.
Richard started to applaud the comical moment, as Susanna Reid could be seen doubled over laughing in the studio.
“When you said ‘do you know who I am,’ he certainly had a view!” said Susanna.
The man’s mum, Elaine, who had entered the ITV competition on Tuesday morning, later appeared with her pet dog in her arms.
“You’re not filming me!” Elaine, who was wearing her dressing gown, exclaimed.
Andi presented her with a bunch of flowers and informed her she’d won the dosh on your doorstep competition, with £3,000 heading her way.
Her son reappeared moments later – fully dressed – as the winner revealed she planned to spend the windfall on a summer getway.

However, Elaine jokingly suggested her grown-up son wouldn’t get to share the winnings.
“Is he going get some of it?” Andi asked, only for Elaine to reply: “No.”
Andi was delighted to present the family with the prize, as he turned to the studio and declared: “I love giving away ITV’s money, it’s one of the best things in the world.”
Good Morning Britain airs on weekdays at 6a on ITV.
