Peter Andre confesses the new year 'is the time' to have another baby with wife Emily

Peter Andre has confessed the new year ‘is the time’ to have another baby with wife Emily Andre.

The dad-of-four, 48, revealed at the start of the year that he would consider having more children with the NHS doctor, 32.

Writing in his weekly new! column, Peter says 2022 is the time to welcome another addition to his family.

He penned: “At the start of this year I said 2021 would be the last year I would consider having more children.

“However, as we spent a lot of time in lockdown, I think we need to put everything back 12 months!”

The TV personality did consider his age and sets a time limit on having a fifth child.

He continued: “So now I’m saying if it’s going to happen, 2022 is the time.

“I’m 49 in February and I’ve always said my limit was until I turn 50, so who knows!”

The Mysterious Girl star has four children already, Junior 16, and Princess, 14, whom he shares with ex-wife Katie Price.

In 2012, Peter and then medical student Emily MacDonagh fell in love and later welcomed two children, seven-year-old daughter, Amelia and five-year-old, Theodore.

Despite, Junior and Princess often making a public appearance, Peter and Emily keep their children out of the spotlight by covering their faces in photos online.

Recently, the Australian star has taken to Instagram to share an OK! magazine article about himself and Emily having another child.

He joked alongside the post: “I better ask the wife first.”

Back in June, Peter admitted he thought he and his wife were “done” having more children.

However, he did leave the option open.

He claimed: “I think we’re pretty much done.”

“But the way I think about it, it’s not up to me anyway. Since when is it my choice? Think about it. You might say, ‘Well it is your choice’. No, it ain’t my choice.”
