Britain's Got Talent's Calum Scott redfaced after suffering awkward technical blunder

Britain’s Got Talent star Calum Scott suffered several technical blunders while trying to do a Facebook live.

The singer, 33, rose to fame after appearing on the ITV talent show in 2015 when he became Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer.

When Calum attempted to do a Facebook live to answer questions put forward by fans, he ran into a spot of bother when he experienced several hilarious technical issues.

The BGT star looked confused as he asked: “Who is that?” before adding “oh it’s me,” as he and his friend broke out into fits of laughter.

As they were still debating whether he was successfully living, Calum quipped: “I don’t think I am” before his friend exclaimed: “No you are!”

“There’s one person viewing, is that you? Are we live? Can somebody confirm it to me?” he giggled.

The sound of Calum’s voice echoed in the back of the video as his friend proceeded to watch his live from a different screen.

He finally realised he was live when a fan commented: “Hello from the Philippines.”

The singer gave a huge sigh of relief as he said: “Oh thank god for that!”

He began answering questions from his fans, with one asking: “Are there any more bops on the new album?”

He answered: “Of course, there are,” before attempting to play one of his new songs.

“Bear with me a minute,” he explained.

Eventually, the song began playing, however, it played out of his air pods meaning fans couldn’t hear it.

“It’s playing through my air pods,” he repeated.

Calum’s sound eventually crashed, leaving him on mute for the rest of the live stream.

The star shook his head and rested his hands above his head as he admitted defeat.

He took to TikTok and posted the hilarious video, captioning it: “Tried to do Facebook Live the other day…”

Fans of the 33-year-old found the compilation hilarious, with one saying: “I am HOWLING!!!”

“Hilarious!,” another wrote.

While a third commented: “OMG… this live!! I swear you need a survival kit for these.”
