Emmerdale fans have started asking questions about the amount of people who are allowed to visit Cain Dingle in prison.
Cain is currently locked up for the murder of Chas’ lover and his sworn enemy Al Chapman – a crime which was actually carried out by his son Kyle.
Despite being behind bars for a few weeks, the long-running character still remains on screen as his family members often visit him for several different reasons.

During Wednesday’s episode, it was Matty’s turn to take a trip to the prison after he became determined to find information about Moira’s whereabouts, leading him straight to Cain for answers.
But as Cain sat for a visit with his wife’s son, viewers took to social media to question how he is allowed so many visitors.
“Is this an open prison? How many visits to cain in one day? #Emmerdale,” wrote one puzzled viewer.
Another added: “Cain Dingle has more visitors than me and I live near the Cotswolds and I’m not in prison.”
“Prison ‘drop in’ must be open again for Matty to visit Cain,” penned a third.
Someone else echoed: “The amount of visits Cain gets is just unrealistic.”
“Cain’s family see him more now he’s in prison then when he was living in the village,” shared another user.
While a sixth speculated: “Cain must spend more prison time with visitors than he does in his cell.”
Despite Cain refraining from telling Matty what really happened on the day Al was murdered, he managed to trick Mack into thinking Cain had told him the truth.
After Mack revealed all, Matty forced him to hand over Moira’s number by threatening to tell everyone the truth about Kyle’s role in Al’s death.
As he finally got hold of his mum, Matty demanded she return with Amy and Kyle before saying: “Or who knows what I might do.”
Will Kyle’s secret stay hidden?
