Helen Flanagan confesses she 'rarely bathes son' due to medical condition

Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan has opened up about her son’s medical condition that means she can only bathe him three times a week.

The 31-year-old took to Instagram to update her followers on how her son is doing, along with her two daughters.

The mother-of-three shares her children with footballer Scott Sinclair and they raise their family in Manchester.

The couple have been in a relationship since 2009 and became parents together in 2015.

Helen, who played Rosie Webster in Corrie, shared a video of herself on Instagram as she held Charlie in her arms.

She said: “”I’m trying to get Charlie to eat and [he] needs a bath because [he’s] been weaning. Charlie’s got eczema so I don’t bathe him all the time, just because of his eczema.”

Flanagan then opened up about a sweet message she had received: “Another mummy messaged me yesterday to say that I look like I’ve got it together. I absolutely do not! I just try my best like all mums. I have my days where I feel more together and those that I don’t.”

The actress recently admitted that she is not planning on having any more children as she took a breastfeeding break with little Charlie.

She shared a picture of the sweet moment on Instagram, which showed Helen in a black bathing suit and a bucket hat as she bet down to feed her son, and left a message for her followers.

In the caption she celebrated his first birthday and wrote: “I’m not too sure when our feeding journey will come to an end. I am thinking I will keep nursing through the summer. I think it’s a comfort to him with his teething, it’s great to calm him while flying.”

She also assured her fans that she “loves breastfeeding because she likes to bond” but isn’t sure when their “breastfeeding journey” will “come to an end”.

She continued: “He’s likely my last baby and I want to soak this all up. I feel quite emotional about stopping. My hormones are stable when I breastfeed and I love not having a period and PMS.”

“I love looking down and seeing his cute little face and big brown eyes. I think it calms me if I feel anxious.”
