I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! bosses are aiming to pile on the pressure in the show’s final this weekend – by making the contestants do their final bushtucker trials facing each other.
ITV execs have come up with the idea to add extra jeopardy to the final three trials of the series and it will be the first time it has happened.
After completing Cyclone on Saturday night there will be one more eviction leaving three for the final to literally go face-to-face in their last challenge.

One show source said: “The trials in this year’s finale show will be the most competitive and dramatic ever.
“They are hard enough doing them to win a course for the final meal in camp, but now they will have the added pressure of looking their fellow campmates in the eyes as they try to win stars.”
They added: “On top of that in the final some people will be thinking about the prospect of being king or queen, so they’ll be watching knowing if the person is doing well or looking good they could be watching the moment someone else wins the series.
“It will add pressure but also be fascinating to see the body language of the trio. I wouldn’t want to go last waiting around and then having all the pressure on you to finish off the job.”
The last three trials in the final are always to win an iconic meal where the celebs can pretty much choose their favourite foods and drinks over three courses. It is also the ‘last supper’ in camp where they make speeches and discuss their adventures.
The three trials for the final have not yet been chosen but it is understood that one will be an eating trial – which has been dubbed Bushtucker Bonanza in the past in Australia – as this type of trial is popular with the viewers.
Last year in Wales, king of the jungle Danny Miller’s last epic meal was halloumi fries, a full English breakfast and some chocolate.
Finalist Frankie Bridge went for arguably an even more calorific meal, choosing baked camembert to begin with, followed by a roast beef dinner and apple crumble and custard with white chocolate fingers for her afters.
The finalists managed to complete all their trials in the final.
It comes after Geordie hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly announced Thursday night’s episode (November 24) of I’m A Celeb will run for 90 minutes.
In their latest instalment of the Jungle Club which followed last night’s show, the duo spoke during an Instagram Live and discussed what fans could expect for the next evening.
As Ant hinted at the “little bit of exclusive news” on the show, his partner in crime Dec revealed: “It’s a 90 minute show tomorrow. It’s a long show so get ready for it!”
I’m A Celebrity airs nightly on ITV and ITV Hub
