ITV weather girl Lucy Verasamy shows off natural glow in glam wintery snaps

Lucy Verasamy left fans speechless as she posed up a storm in a glam winter snap.

The ITV weather presenter braved the chilly British climes on Tuesday (March 22), but she had her very own microclimate going as she set temperatures soaring in the stunning snaps.

First, Lucy posed for a quick selfie in the shade of a tall building, looking cosy in a faux fur-lined coat and tortoiseshell sunglasses, with a scarf pulled up around her mouth to ward off the chill.

Her brunette tresses were done up in a chic ponytail atop her head as she snuggled into her winter clothes.

But she was keen to show the effect of the springtime sunshine as she contrasted it with another picture, this time looking bright and sporting a massive grin as the sun shone down on her.

Lucy showed off her natural beauty in the stunning snap

Lucy opted for a bright blue waterproof coat in her next snap, with faux fur lining the hood and a black woollen hat atop her sleek brunette hair.

She opted for a chic pair of purple-tinted hexagonal sunglasses as she beamed for the camera, opting to wear her hair down past her shoulders in an effortlessly glam style.

Lucy accentuated her natural beauty with a swipe of pale pink lip gloss, keeping her eyes protected from the sun behind her huge shades.

The star braved the chilly air

Posting the snap on Instagram, Lucy wrote: “Winter in the shade, summer in the light this time of year. Choose the sunny side of the street – HUGE difference.”

She added: “Summed up by a quote from Charles Dickens in 1880: ‘It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold, when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade. Great Expectations.”

Lucy admitted it was her “favourite Charles Dickens quote” as she shared the post to her Instagram Stories.

And fans soon hopped into the comments section to shower her with compliments, as one penned: “Loving the colour of that jacket.”

Another chimed in: “That jacket looks heavy Lucy!”

It comes as Lucy celebrated the Spring Equinox in Tignes, France, with a stunning shot of a frozen lake.

With the moon glowing above a snow-capped mountain, Lucy framed her snap with a few lit up cabins in the distance, as she wrote: “Alpine air by night – walking across a snowy frozen lake after dinner.

“Happy Spring Equinox: day and night now equal in length and marks the point between midsummer and midwinter.”
