Recently, rumours have been swirling that Love Island’s Chloe Burrows was hinting that she and boyfriend Toby Aromolaran had split for good – but now the couple have set the record straight.
The pair met during their time in the Majorcan villa last summer, so when Chloe dropped a sneaky “hint” that she and her long-term beau had split – fans were devastated.
It all started when on Tuesday (May 24) the ITV2 show confirmed the launch date of the 2022 series – which will burst back onto our screens on Monday, June 6.
Clearly missing the warmer climates, Chloe commented on the post in support of the new series.
Writing beneath it the former Love Island contestant cheekily penned: “Can I come back?”
The simple and somewhat innocent comment led to a barrage of fans presuming she wanted to get back into the villa to find a new beau because she had supposedly split with Toby.
The rumours weren’t based on anything serious though as split rumours have been spiralling around the couple for months.
An insider recently told The Sun: “It was touch and go for Chloe and Toby just a few weeks ago.
“They’ve both been working really hard and were finding it difficult to make time for each other.”
But now Chloe has completely dismissed any rumours that the pair’s relationship is breaking down.
She has now set the record straight and completely proved that she and Toby are stronger than ever – and very much together still.
Taking to Instagram to share a loved-up selfie to commemorate the pair heading on their first holiday abroad together, Chloe pouted up a storm and flashed a peace sign as she dismantled the split rumours.
Toby also posted onto his story beating down the rumours as he posted a video of him and Chloe walking through an airport.
Chloe also took to TikTok to post a cheeky video where she flashed her middle finger to the camera in response to the rumours.
The voice over said: “I’ve been dropping so many hints, and you still don’t hear me.”
She also captioned it: “How do people stay ask if we together :)))) HOW [sic].”
In the video Chloe was swaying along to the music while miming to the voice over, throwing a peace sign and then flipping her middle finger while sticking her tongue out.
Some fans continued to add fuel to the fire by asking her about he relationship status, while others supported the star.
One follower penned in the comments: “You shouldn’t have to justify that you’re still together, no one’s business!”
Another added: “I think they’ve broken up tbh guys.”
While a third chimed in: “They are literally going away tomorrow!”
