BBC viewers are slamming the way show bosses are handling Lily’s teenage pregnancy storyline on EastEnders.
Viewers tuned in on Monday night (April 10) to see the 12-year-old visit the doctor with the baby’s father, Rocky, for a 20-week scan.
But it wasn’t long before they they complained about how the soap is handling the sensitive storyline dubbing it “awful” as the young teens and their parents appear care-free.

“Every single thing to do with Lily and this awful pregnancy storyline makes me roll my eyes. I just can’t with it #eastenders,” one viewer blasted.
“What made them think this story line with Lily was a good idea it’s fu**ing disgusting #eastenders,” penned a second.

A third echoed: “is ee ever gonna start treating the lily storyline how they should or is a 12 year old being pregnant just all fun and cute now? #EastEnders,” while a fourth agreed: “Why are #EastEnders normalising teenage pregnancies? Lily and Ricky Jr are practically babies themselves!”
Later, an excited Lily announced her plans for a gender reveal party, while Stacey juggled calls from the persistent Shiv.

Stacey was horrified to discover Shiv lurking in her kitchen, smugly suggesting ways she could repay her mounting debts.
Just as things were heating up, Eve burst in and launched a fierce attack on Shiv, who retaliated by ordering Stacey to cough up her entire debt by the following day.
Denise was appalled to learn that Chelsea provided Ravi with an alibi.

Nugget panicked when Denise broke down their door and persistently called Ravi.
At Walford East, Denise confronted Ravi about Chelsea’s alibi, leading to a massive argument. a plate suddenly shattered outside, leaving them both on edge.
Ravi discovered Nugget’s apron next to the broken plate, unsure if he had overheard their heated exchange. and Ravi found Nugget’s apron nearby.
Nugget was later seen hacking Ravi’s phone and saw evidence of their affair, confirming he heard everything.
