EastEnders fans sobbing as Lola’s funeral date confirmed in heartbreaking scenes

EastEnders fans were emotional on Tuesday’s (June 12) episode of the BBC soap after Lola’s funeral date was finally confirmed.

Fans were choking up as she died with daughter Lexi in her arms and Jay at her bedside.

Taking to Twitter, viewers shared their thoughts as the funeral episode beckons.

Another penned: “Lola’s funeral date confirmed,” followed by a crying emoji.

“Lola’s funeral is two weeks from tomorrow, I can’t believe she’s gone,” added a third.

Kathy fretted about organizing Lola’s wake, and Rocky was determined to take the stress off her, but his day was disrupted when Jo showed up with their divorce papers.

Rocky desperately tried to keep Jo away from Kathy.

Later, when they caught up, Rocky wondered why he hadn’t received his papers via post, but as Rocky left, Jo rattled him when she told him that “Jasper said hello”.

Later, Rocky suspiciously called Jo and demanded to talk about “his boy”.

Elsewhere, distraught Vinny searched for answers about Suki’s accident and became convinced something more sinister was going on.

Nish was horrified by his assumptions and tried to shut them down, but Eve’s fears for Suki’s welfare fueled Vinny’s theory.

At the hospital, Eve and Suki worried whether Ravi realized she had planned to leave Nish. Eve was convinced Suki wasn’t safe if sent home, but the doctors discharged her.

Meanwhile, after overhearing Eve worrying about Suki’s safety, Mitch feared that Suki had been a victim of domestic violence, like Chantelle.

When Mitch offered to get some food for Suki, Nish declined and said they didn’t want any visitors. At No.41, Vinny tried to get Suki to open up about her feelings, but Nish stopped the conversation.

Frustrated, Vinny gave Eve his keys, hoping she could get through to Suki.

When alone, Eve told Suki there was only one way out of this – she had to report Nish for pushing her down the stairs.

Elsewhere Elaine tried to get closer to Gina and Anna by playing matchmaker but got things terribly wrong when she confused Gina’s crush on Zack with a fondness for Freddie.
