EastEnders fans believe they’ve ‘figure out’ when Cindy Beale will return to the BBC soap after spotting a series of clues.
Thursday’s episode (June 29) saw Gina and Anna furious at their dad having stormed out following his revelation about their mum.
Blaming him for her departure, they girls spent the night at Kathy Beale’s house, who unbeknownst to the girls, is Ian Beale’s mum, the current partner of their missing mum.

Fans first suspected this was a clue that Cindy’s return was imminent, with the storyline forcing the characters together to prepare for the fireworks to come.
But a second clue had fans convinced.
The sisters were sorting out their belongings as they planned to flee the square in anger when they came across an old locket belonging to their mum.
The date inscribed on the locked read: “9.12.93.”
Fans immediately recalled the date being the birthday of Peter and Lucy Beale.
“9/12/1993- Peter and Lucy birthday Holllaaa love these little clues,” said one fan.
“ #eastenders 9/12/1993- Peter and Lucy’s birthday omg these clue means it’s happening soooooon,” another penned.
“9 December 1993 that was on that necklace was the Beale twins birthday #EastEnders they are framing something here I think she’ll be back very soon.”
So while Anna has no idea what the date is in reference to, there are plenty of residents who do know – so could one of them find the necklace and put two and two together?
Elsewhere in the episode George buries his head in the sand before Elaine intervenes and implores the girls to forgive their dad.
George has a heart-to-heart with Gina and Anna, and they both agree to forgive
him and move on from their mum once and for all.
Gina throws out her mum’s old jewellery box, but Anna later retrieves this and ponders on a date on one of her mum’s lockets as it’s clear she is determined to find her mum.
Denise is stressed as she tries to juggle her family commitments under the pressure of Jack.
After a run in at the salon with Kim when Denise takes Pearl for lunch, Denise realises that Kim is dealing with trauma from the crash.
Later at No.18 Denise feels guilty when Kim opens up about her struggles, but Howie implores her to stop blaming herself for everything that has happened.
Back at home, Jack rows with Denise for being late home but she finally snaps and tells Jack she won’t apologise for not being perfect.
