Love Island star forced to leave villa four times in ‘most stressful moment ever’

Love Island star Anna-May Robey revealed she was forced to leave the villa four times.

The brunette beauty starred in the Winter 2023 series of the show and spoke exclusively to the Daily Star.

Talking about stressful villa moments, she said: “It was the most stressful moment ever honestly, as well as when I had to do my recoupling speech first out of everyone. I thought I could just copy people but they made me repeat it four times.

“Then when we left we had 15 mins to get everything packed I think I left so much of my stuff there. We had 15 mins to pack all of my stuff and say bye to everyone and leave.”

Anna-May added: “I was like ‘Oh my god, girls, I’m going to miss you.’

“They were there just like shoving everything in my suitcase. Then me and Harris left and I think we did our walkout with our suitcases like four times.

“Producers said to ‘Go back and do that walk again and say bye to everyone by the front door again’.

“By the way, it was really emotional when you do that and you have to do your walk a few times and I just wanted to go to bed.

The Islander also shared that her cast were asked to talk about the royals.

The Welsh beauty explained: “When we would have lunch and stuff like that, it was just a saying producers would say to us because naturally you would say ‘So and so said this earlier’ and you can’t talk about anything because it wouldn’t be on TV.

“And as the girls were separate from the boys, and we’d be like, ‘What can we talk about then? And they’d be like ‘Talk about Prince Harry and Meghan’.

Anna-May chatted exclusively to the Daily Star

“Because you can’t really put that on TV because no one is interested in what I think about Harry and Meghan.

“They obviously don’t want to miss anything they can put on TV, sometimes we would get told off for whispering.

“It’s a hard job for them to stop us from talking and sometimes you’d be in the middle of a chat and after lunch, you’d try to go back to the conversation and you’d be lost where you were. And it’s hard because I can’t remember what I had for breakfast so.”

Love Island airs nightly on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm
