Things are heating up in the Winter Love Island villa – and it’s not just the romance between the couples.
Fans of the popular ITV2 reality dating series have picked up on a ‘feud’ between contestants Zara Lackenby-Brown and Olivia Hawkins after the two clashed during a game of beer pong.
However, they are not the first islanders to have been caught in a war of words.

As the latest series of Winter Love Island continues, Daily Star takes a look at some of the past feuds between contestants.
Zara Lackenby-Brown and Olivia Hawkins
Love Island fans think they have spotted a feud between Winter Love Island 2023 stars Olivia Hawkins and Lackenby-Brown.
Their supposed ‘feud’ comes after Zara recoupled with Tom Clare, who Olivia was paired with.
During an explosive argument, Zara was left seething after Olivia pulled Tom for a chat, with Olivia previously heard saying: “I see you’re playing a game, to which Zara replied: “Playing a game how, bruv?”
Zara could later be heard saying: “I’m here for myself. You think I flew 11 hours from England to p**s you off? Get over yourself Liv, get over yourself.”
The two islanders put their differences aside and agreed to be civil with one another, but as the latest series continues, will their feud reignite?
Antigoni Buxton and Ekin-Su Culculogu
Antigoni Buxton entered the Love Island villa as a bombshell in 2022 – and immediately felt a connection with Davide Sanclimenti.
Speaking on the series at the time, she could be heard saying: “With Davide, I’m super comfortable… We really get along. Whatever it would end up being, it would be authentic.”
However, Davide chose to stay coupled up with Ekin-Su, with who he would eventually win the series.
After leaving the villa, Antigoni spoke about her connection with Davide to OK! Magazine, saying: “We spent so much time together and could have had a romantic connection.”
However, some Love Island fans thought Antigoni was being bitter and took to social media, with one telling Ekin-Su: “@ekinsuofficial don’t associate with Antigoni she’s been giving salty interviews about you everywhere!”
Rumours of a ‘feud’ between the pair quickly began to circulate, but Antigoni quickly shut these down during an interview with podcast Chuckie Online.
She said: “There’s this narrative online that I don’t like Ekin-Su. There’s all this like, ‘You’ve been shading her’, but I’ve not ever once said in any interview that I ever had a problem with Ekin-Su.
“All I said was there was one moment I found that we had a little bit of thing and we spoke about it, it was fine and we moved on.”
Antigoni added that she congratulated Davide and Ekin-Su on their win, and that she and Ekin-Su both addressed the rumoured feud, adding: “When I went to the Reunion, the first thing I did when I saw Davide and Ekin-Su come in was I knocked on their dressing room door and said congratulations.
“I said, ‘By the way there’s some stuff online and I hope you know that’s not how I feel at all’.
“Ekin was like, ‘I don’t care about what is online’, and that was that.”
Remi Lambert, Luca Bish and Jacques O’Neill
Remi Lambert hit out at Luca Bish and Jacques O’Neill in an Instagram post, after he accused the two islanders of “bullying,” him on the show and away from the villa.
Luca and Jacques slammed Remi’s rapping skills during an Instagram Live, where Jacques could be seen rolling his eyes and saying: “It’s really really good, you should turn pro.”
Jacques then added: “Pro? A pro rapper? He ain’t got… What’s he gonna do? Work in Harrods next year?”
Addressing the video in an Instagram statement, Remi said: “Everyone lied about the way I was treated in that villa, but this here is an example of what was going on whilst I was in there.
“Don’t know why they wasn’t kicked out for their behaviour to be honest. It’s not banter, it’s clearly signs of bullying.”
Remi also thanked fans for their support following Jacque’s and Luca’s shared Instagram video, saying: “Thankful for all of the support I’m getting.
“Letting yous know that I’m getting better each day. The negativity won’t stop me. Life’s too short to not do things you love.”
Jacques later apologised if his actions had caused any one offence and said he was “taking responsibility for his actions,” saying: “I genuinely have no bad feelings towards anyone.”
He also added that he was entering therapy, adding: “There is work that needs to be done on myself.”
Anton Danyluk and Molly Mae Hague
Anton Anyluk and Molly Mae Hague had a confrontation during the Love Island 2019 reunion show, after Anton unfollowed her on Twitter and claimed they “never got along.”
Speaking to The Sun following his villa exit, Anton said: “I have nothing against her, we just didn’t speak in the villa. We would be in the same room and wouldn’t say a word to each other.
“A lot of people think it’s because they voted us out but that’s nothing to do with it, we just never got on.
“We just never clicked and she didn’t like it after I put her in her place earlier in the show. But I got on with everyone else really well.”
However despite this, Anton and Molly came to blows on the reunion episode of Love Island After Sun.
Anton revealed he unfollowed her as they “never got on” in the villa, and that he would not be following her back.
He also suggested that Molly-Mae had been “playing a game” in the villa, adding: “I’m sure Molly will agree with this, we never really spoke in the villa, we never even spoke.”
However, Molly-Mae replied: “I mean, I didn’t think you weren’t a friend of mine, I’m not gonna lie. I thought we were friends.”
After saying he was not going to be re-following her on Instagram, as he had “never followed her in the first place,” Molly-Mae could then be seen shaking her head, before appearing to mouth “f**k off,” during the heated exchange.
Yewande Biala and Lucie Donlan
After the Love Island 2019 contestants left the villa, a feud came to light between Yewande Biala and Lucie Donlan.
Heat Magazine reported that Lucie claimed Yewande had “bullied her” in a series of old Instagram comments.
However, Yewande soon responded, saying: “You refused to call me by my name because it was too ‘hard to pronounce’ now you wanna say I bullied you! Bullied.”
Yewande then released a lengthy Instagram statement, claiming that Lucie had “stripped her of her identity” by asking to call her by another name in the villa, which she described as a case of “racialised renaming.”
Their fellow islander Amy Hart showed her support for Yewande as she took to social media, saying: “We haven’t spoken about it publicly because it was Yewande’s story to tell. I remember dates, times, locations of every conversation in that villa. There’s so much you don’t see.”
Addressing the race row, Lucie later told Mail Online: “I’ve been sent death threats which are incredibly scary as you can imagine.
“I said on the show I had trouble pronouncing Yewande’s name, it’s just what I’m like. I asked if I could use a shortened, abbreviated version of her name instead as a term of endearment. There’s nothing sinister to it.
“I regret how just a few old comments sent 18 months ago has snowballed like this and got out of hand, and drummed up some needless negativity.”
Coco Lodge and Summer Botwe
Coco Lodge and Summer Botwe became embroiled in a row on the Love Island 2022 reunion show, following comments made about fellow contestant Josh Le Grove.
Coco and Summer are reported to have fallen out with one another after Coco described Josh as “so fit” and suggested that she “could have bedded him after they left the villa,” according to OK! Magazine.
The two subsequently unfollowed one another on social media – but there was a war of words when they came face to face on the reunion show.
When asked if any of the islanders had dated since leaving the show, Summer could be heard saying: “I know someone who wishes they would have gotten with someone.”
Coco clapped back, saying: “It’s just banter. If you can’t handle a big personality, don’t go on reality TV,” to which Summer replied: “Friends don’t say certain things, hun, but alright.”
The situation became so heated that a member of the audience even tweeted afterwards: “Just been at the #LoveIsland reunion episode filming, very heated exchange between Coco and Summer production had to step in and close it down.”
