New horror film ‘worse than Terrifier 2’ is so gruesome fans are being handed vomit bags

One new horror film set to hit cinemas very soon is so gruesome that viewers are being handed sick bags on their way into theatres.

Early reviewers of the latest Saw film have been showing off the accoutrements handed to them when heading into the screenings, with everyone receiving a bag with a huge “WARNING” stamp on. The text then reads: “Saw X is a film not to be taken lightly. Vomit or cry… the choice is yours.”

One horror account on Instagram penned alongside a snap of the bag: “Apparently at the premiere of Saw X they are giving these out to audience members!” – and fans soon went wild.

One commenter said: “Oh really? I watched Cannibal Holocaust, ate lunch, drank coffee and was fine afterwards. Bring it on.” As somebody else posted: “I thought that was some kind of flyer at first, but now I’m getting the horrific realisation that it might be a barf bag!”

But somebody else fumed: “They used this same promo tactic last year with Terrifier 2.”

Indeed they did – viewers of the killer clown flick, which has been called one of the goriest ever, were also given sick bags before watching. Along with a cartoon clown, a warning which read “This vomit bag is being provided due to the extreme violence and excessive gore of this feature” was handed out.

Alongside the stark warning came a quote from Horror DNA, which read: “As f***ing awful as the first!” and the words: “Guaranteed to cause gastrointestinal upset.”

But some fans are sure that Saw X is set to be even more horrific than the gory slasher. “Better than Terrifier 2!” one fan gushed, while somebody else said: “So Saw X, let’s talk about it. It could possibly be my favourite in the series. It felt raw, emotional and one of the goriest.”

Some early screenings even feature Billy the Puppet cycling on his tiny tricycle in front of the big screen to creep viewers out just a little bit more.

Fans who haven’t yet seen the film have been captivated by the trailer, which sees one poor victim strapped to a wheelchair and forced to perform brain surgery on himself without anaesthetic. Another trap sees a man with long tubes strapped to his eyes – with some speculating that acid will be poured down unless he manages to escape.

According to Deadline, the new film tells the “untold chapter of Jigsaw’s final games”, as desperate John Kramer travels to Mexico for a risky medical procedure, hoping to cure his cancer.

But he soon realises the entire thing is just a scam set to defraud vulnerable people, and turns the tables on the con artists for one last game. Featuring plenty of “devious, deranged and ingenious traps”, Saw X is set chronologically between the events of Saw I and Saw II.
