Following its launch, fans have taken to social media to share their reaction to the film.
One person reacted: “This was one saucy film,” as another wrote: “damn Netflix here with the raunchy and scary movies.”
Following the movie’s launch, Daily Star flicks through some of the steamiest new films and shows coming to screens.
Obsession – Netflix, available now
A remake of the erotic novel Damage, which was turned into a 1992 film starring Jeremy Irons and Juliette Binoche, this features Richard Armitage as a successful surgeon who starts a passionate affair with his son’s girlfriend, played by Happy Valley’s Charlie Murphy.
Explicit scenes which include blindfolding and tying up – have seen it rated 18 while Spooks star Armitage also appears totally nude.
In fact he and Charlie spent a whopping 10 days naked or near-naked filming raunchy scenes in the flat where most of the affair takes place.
Sex/Life – Netflix, available now
This saw bored housewife Billie Connelly (Sarah Shahi) revisit her sex-filled past with love of her life Brad Simon (Adam Demos) in season one while the second series dropped last month.
Scenes of Aussie hunk Adam naked with a prosthetic penis and the two stars – who hooked up in real life – performing sex acts sent the show viral.
There was also a swingers’ party while the second series featured topless mud rubs, further sex scenes and a drug-fuelled encounter with a prostitute.
Fatal Attraction – Paramount+ from May 1
This 80s classic gave us the term “bunny boiler” as the affair between Michael Douglas’ married lawyer and Glenn Close’s publishing editor saw her pop the family’s rabbit in a pot.
Sex scenes include the pair getting down to business on various kitchen surfaces before moving into the bedroom.
The new version stars Joshua Jackson and Lizzy Caplan in the Douglas and Close roles and it’s told more sympathetically to the woman’s point of view.
Cruel Intentions – Amazon, currently filming
That sizzling smooch between Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair was one of the steamiest moments of 90s cinema.
Now Amazon has given the green light to an eight-episode TV reboot of the 1999 original, which starts filming in Canada this month.
Sarah and Ryan Phillippe starred as a pair of wealthy and ruthless step siblings who use sex and manipulation to achieve their aims.
9 1/2 Weeks – Amazon, filming starts in the summer
The streaming giant has commissioned a 10-part series based on the 1986 film which starred Kim Basinger and Mickey Rourke in an S&M relationship.
Saucy scenes featured food and blindfolds, role play, an ice cube and an alley romp while Basinger appeared semi-naked.
Basinger will be back playing a university professor but bosses are said to be looking for relatively unknown actors for the leads.
Presumed Innocent – AppleTV+ currently filming
This 1990 thriller saw Harrison Ford as a lawyer charged with the murder of his colleague and mistress, played by Greta Scacchi with the pair enjoying some sultry action in the office and bedroom.
It is now being remade as a series with Jake Gyllenhaal taking on Ford’s role.
