Aljaž Škorjanec confessed he has “gained more weight than his pregnant wife” as he supports Janette Manrara throughout her first trimester.
The Strictly Come Dancing couple announced that they were expecting their first child back in February and six years after they tied the knot in 2017.
Since they shared the joyous news with the world, the happy couple have been delighting fans with their loved-up snaps on the red carpet and showing off the pro dancer’s blossoming baby bump.

And last week was no exception as the dancers strutted their stuff on the red carpet when they attended Pride of Manchester Awards.
Now, in an exclusive interview with Daily Star, the power couple have shared some of their favourite moments from the early stages of the pregnancy.
When asked how they have been feeling since the announcement, Janette, 38, confessed: “I’m happy and pregnant,” as her husband joked: “We’re both happy and pregnant.”
Aljaž, 33, continued: “I eat most of her things, I’ve actually gained more weight than my pregnant wife has.”
Janette went on to discuss some of the highlights of her pregnancy so far as she said: “It’s dancing in my belly already!”
She said: “Some of my highlights whilst being pregnant [has to be] the first time we felt the baby move, the first time we saw the scan and going to bed feeling it move.”
The Cuban-American presenter went on to gush over how supportive Aljaž has been to her so far, admitting: “I kind of wish I could carry the pregnancy through the rest of my life.”
Janette went on: “I have to be honest with you, I’m surprised at how supportive Aljaž has really been.
“I know he always wanted to be a dad but he’s so curious about everything and wants to do everything. I can’t lift a feather without Aljaž doing it.”
The loved-up couple are expecting to meet their little tot later this year, and the performer has already picked out her labour playlist.

She continued: “I have a playlist already, I have lots of Disney songs obviously, of course. We can’t wait.”
But fans will have to wait until their baby has been born to find out the gender, as they left fans guessing, teasing: “We’re gonna surprise everyone on the day the baby comes.”
