Gadd’s tale is based on his real-life battles through stalking and sexual assault, with the comedian starring as Donny, an aspiring comic. The harrowing story takes viewers through a horrendous time period, in which Gadd was carving out a career in the entertainment industry, with shows such as Breaking Gadd, Waiting for Gaddot, and Monkey See Monkey Do.

However, his rise through the ranks saw him capture the attention of a woman, who subsequently embarked on a spree of harassment that forced him to deal with previous trauma. Fiona has denied the allegations and is willing to go head-to-head with Netflix in court.

Baby Reindeer is a major hit.

The woman, who moved from Scotland to London, has revealed that she has received “death threats as a result of his show” and described the series as “a gross intrusion into my privacy. She later added: “I don’t want people to know where I live, but I will not be silenced.”

In an interview with The Scottish Sun, she asserted: “I have a claim against Netflix as this is being billed as part of a true story. I’m a highly competent lawyer. I’d have to do it myself. I’m very good. I have a photographic memory and can memorise huge files. I was top in my school at everything.”

Fiona Harvey says Baby Reindeer is not accurate

The legal expert has taken particular offence to the portrayal of her appearance, raging: “I am very attractive. He’s not Brad Pitt. There’s a fat actress that’s supposed to be me. He’s come up with this character called Martha, and he has put me right in the frame. This is a programme for the 20-somethings.the people with no lives, no jobs, whatever. I don’t want to be a celebrity.”

The 58-year-old who graduated from Aberdeen Univeristy informed the Daily Record that she has chosen against watching the programme, but has caught the highlights online. She denied harassing the writer, exclaiming: “I was in Richard Gadd’s company on occasions, but I didn’t stalk him like he claims. His story is a gross intrusion into my privacy. I haven’t seen him for 12 years.” Daily star has reached out to Netflix for a comment.
