Coronation Street’s Nick Tilsley and Toyah Habeeb embarked on a steamy affair during the latest visit to Weatherfield.
Leanne Batterbsy (Jane Danson) announced that she’s paying for Toyah’s daughter Rose’s funeral out of her savings during Tuesday’s (June 16) episode of the ITV soap.
Outside the undertakers, George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) placed Rose’s coffin in the hearse. Having spotted Rowan Cunliffe (Emrhys Cooper) watching from Victoria Garden, a furious Toyah raced over and, giving him a shove, orderd him to stay away as he wasn’t welcome. and Leanne watched with horror.

With the funeral over, Leanne admitted that she didn’t have any savings and Rowan paid for the funeral. After a showdown with Nick, Leanne headed off in tears. Toyah later confronted Rowan and told him that she’s going to do everything she can to expose him for the vile man he really is.
Toyah returned home to find Nick alone and he apologised for Leanne’s behaviour and Toyah brroke down in tears. Nick took his sister-in-law in his arms and they kissed passionately, unaware that from the derelict builder’s yard, a man was watching them intently.
Despite the man not being known to viewers, fans took to social media to share their thoughts. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “Why would you do that in the window ? And what are the chances that someone is watching said window ready to take pictures. #Corrie is taking the p*ss now”

Another added: Sorry but why were Nick and Toyah kissing in the window like this? x.” A third person said: “Just casually snog by an open window as you do. So obvious” Having enjoyed an afternoon of sex, Nick and Toyah agree that it mustn’t happen again and they should stay out of each other’s way as much as possible.
However, It was later revealed that the mystery man who caught them kissing on camera is part of Rowan’s Institute and a photograph of her kissing Nick was sent to Toyah’s phone, leaving them both concerned.

Coronation Street spoilers have revealed that Toyah tells Nick that they’ve little choice but to come clean to Leanne about their brief affair. Rowan is holding a meeting in the Bistro much to Nick and Toyah’s dismay and he corners Toyah to hand her a copy of the NDA, suggesting she signs it.
When Toyah makes it clear she won’t be blackmailed and she intends to come clean, Rowan points out that it’ll destroy Leanne but he’ll be happy to pick up the pieces. Toyah’s sickened. Will Toyah tell Leanne?
Rowan makes a speech and announces that Leanne has been promoted to level 5 and he couldn’t be more proud of her. The members clap and Leanne basks in the glory but Nick and Toyah watch in disgust.
